Needed to replace my Motorola 2.5 with this 2.4/5.0 ghz and was really pleased with the speed both wifi and lan. after one week the wifi started dropping its signal. to test i downloaded a 4GB file and it could never fisnish with werror message netowrk failure. downloaded same 4GB fil using my local network coworkstation it went flawlessly and FAST. So if you like FAST and don't mind signla drops on wifi devies it's a good deal. Unfortunately I need something less buggy.

Once I hooked this up could not communicate between laptop and printer wirelessly. I wish I knew this ahead of time.

I had the company on the telephone and they couldn't get it to work

Router was just not enough power to work for me. Needed to upgrade to newer router.

I was told to buy AC version because it is better but I have not noticed anything better about the speed at all.

The Wireless Connection Keeps Reconnecting all the time. WIFI goes on and off every time. Its frustrating that the Netgear support couldn't do anything with this and said the LED's seem to be correct and the Hardware warranty doesn't apply. They suggested to contact the ISP but the ISP side is good. Replaced it with a different Modem/Router from other Manufacturer and had no such issues.

Not bad for the price for a durable modem. No problem since I bought.

This product does what it is supposed to do. It has one component because the router and wifi is in one peace.

It's good, just wish the signal was a little stronger, my apt is rather big and sometimes I get buffering

I went in to get a wifi extender and was told to buy this. I did and was told this is the top of the line modem. After a few hours it started to lag and slow down my internet. The xfinity modem worked much easier but since I already activated this new modem i just left it alone. It still creates problems but a hassle to get it back to the xfinity modem.

Bought this router then realized I couldn’t use it with fiber optic

It is a great product but it should last longer than seven months. Hopefully this second one will last longer.

Can someone recommend a good trashcan that I can throw this thing away in? Out of nowhere (after my return period, of course), this thing suddenly stopped generating 2.4GHz networks. You know what requires a 2.4GHz? Literally every smartphone device ever created. I have only bought super cheap routers (that never break) before this purchase. It's been MAYBE one month, and it already stopped working. Do not recommend.

This could not be used with a landline phone. Since we have both I had to return for different brand.

Really thought I'd love this, but it's a run of the mill modem/router. App looks cool but doesn't fully work.

It's so slow and most of our composers at home are always down. Even though it's not a huge space to cover up

I saw the great ratings on this product before buying, but I am disappointed in it. Previous modem/routers provided by my ISP gave me good wifi coverage for all of my house, but this one will not. I had to purchase a wifi extender to boost it to the far end of my house. I have had it less than a month, so I am waiting to see how that holds up.

As a switch it is great, but as a wi-fi network, it is lacking in signal over only a short distance.

I have a fairly small house but with plaster walls instead of cheap drywall I don’t get much of a signal in one of the bedrooms. Considering the short distance there shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re in range the speed is great
