I have the 100mbps Xfinity internet plan, I used to just rent the Xfinity router they include but this time I chose to buy my own modem/router and this one isn’t good at least for me. I have my phone, TV, PC, PS4 & Laptop connected. The range for wifi is alright, I can be anywhere in the house but once I step outside, the connection drops but I can understand that. I am supposed to get 100mbps download speed roughly but sometimes I check my speeds with ethernet or without & it could be as low at 10-15mbps which is kinda ridiculous. I can’t return it anymore, I should probably just stick to the Xfinity routers though.

It doesn't connect to most appliances like laptops ring cameras and door bell connect customer service no help

Don't really have anything to say bad about it, it's just okay.

It connects just fine and works fine unless you want to use the nighthawk app. Netgear told me i would need to wait a month or two to connect with the app after they got their firmware updated and only my isp could update. Bought a different nighthawk and i updated firmware in the app. Which means it wasn't working properly.

Doesn't work well with Time Warner Cable. Had to return he item.

Unit preforms ok, the need to reboot frequently is annoying.

I found out after getting home that I could not use this item.

I tried everything I knew to get this modem-router combo to work with my Asus mesh internet, but nothing worked. My old NETGEAR works fine with my wifi6 mesh system so I returned this one. Maybe it was defective or maybe it was user error, but it didn't work for me. Due the size of my home, a mesh system is a must.

Good but Expensive. Not really used it though checked it.

Took 3 hours each with Comcast then Netgear to get it working Then, it dropped wiifi at least 10 x per day. Another 6 hours of listening to Comcast chickens in Philippines and Netgear saying “ not us” pointing fingers at each other , I gave up and took it back for refund. I suggest buying anything else.

To be honest, I thought my older gateway was better.

This didn’t last us a year. We actually are renting thru the cable provider because in our experience modems don’t last long.

Horrible experience, after 3 tries with 3 different modems we still couldn’t get a consistent Wi-Fi connection coming from this gateway router. I finally just exchanged it for the Motorola compatible one and it works great. Don’t buy this model. I refused to buy Netgear after this.

Very difficult to make this work. I have had several netgear modem routers and never had difficulty setting them up. Had to call the internet provider. Then it would not connect properly. While waiting on Netgear's technical support it finally connected, about 20 minutes. The 2.5Hz wifi would not start. Netgear's support would not call back until 10PM after 3.5 hours waiting. Not happy with tech support

So this is my second router as I returned the first 1 after 1 year as the initial one stopped working. now today this one stopped and will be returning again. good think I purchased protection but a pain if I have to keep replacing every year.

I needed to replace my old modem quickly, so I found this. 5 hours later and it is still not working right or stable. The wireless portion is horrific for stability and consistency and I am even having issues with the wired jacks. DO NOT BUY THIS! I would return it, but I brought the box to the dump with the other trash. Guess this unit will be there tomorrow.

This things always cuts off the WiFi. Whatever is hooked up via ethernet works fine, but for some reason the wifi cuts off and I have to unplug it and power it back on. I have called netgear and they had me configure it two different times and it keeps shutting off. Netgears customer service sucks by the way. The product has a one year warranty but only offers tech support for 90 days and after that they want you to pay for phone support. Oh and wonderful best buy won't take it back after 30 days even though it's defective.
