This modem is what i needed to get all the speed i was paying for from my cable company. Its saving me the cost of renting the from the company. All my devices are able to connect to 5G and i cant tell the major difference in speed. Setup was easy.

When I replaced my old router with this model many of the problems that I had with speed and wifi connectivity went away. I love the dual band feature. I use one for my kids and one for me and my wife.

Still going strong after five years

Let's be real: routers typically wear out faster than they should. You have to go to your parents' house and do tech support (aka unplug and replug the thing) way too soon in the product's life. So this Netgear model has worked pretty much perfectly for over five years. I restart it occasionally, but considering the older tech, this thing still screams along. Well done, Netgear.

This is a fantastic modem/router gateway. Our old gateway was wireless N and would not give us nearly the speed we are paying for over wireless and would cut off completely very frequently. With the netgear ac1750 our wireless speeds are the same as if we had an Ethernet cable hooked up directly. It was very easy to set up. Just plug in connect with ethernet, log in and secure. The connect your cable line and either activate your modem directly on line or call. It takes less than 20 minutes. I don't have any complaints about this set up. The speed is stable and it has not dropped once.

I saw very good ratings on this product so I made my decision of buying it and got it ready to go but it is slow when trying to see a video or download a movie. Maybe because I just have TWC and have the Xtreme Internet. Planing to downgrade to the 300mgb router.

I just change internet providers last Wednesday and noticed during peak times, this weekend, I was getting a lot of buffering on streaming media with the new Spectrum modem/router so I decided to do some research and then talked to Cody here in the Tampa BBY and decided to go with the Netgear 6300. Got it home, hooked it up and fired up the computer. Called Spectrum and in 10 minutes we were done. Plug and play for the most part and man it is a vast improvement. Super Fast and Rocking. No more router bills. Thanks Cody!

I live in Miami. And have this device with Comcast. Told Comcast I had my own router/modem and they activated it for me. Logged in to the router setting and was up and running in no time. My household has cut the cord so we are relying heavily on our internet connection. As of now we have 2 phones, 2 tablets and Roku (getting a 2nd one soon) and a All in One PC connected via Wifi. Running 150mbs with comcast so that helps. I have felt no lag and connection has been great! I would recommend this product

    Using the V2 version

I've been using the newer V2 version of this modem/router for a few months now and have had absolutely no problems. As a modem it seems to work perfectly fine. As a router its great also, but doesn't necessarily offer all the bells and whistles of top of the line routers. I would easily recommend this all in one solution to my friends and family looking for a robust and reliable modem/router solution. ** I received the beta version of this NETGEAR product for free **

The only problem Is the genie app doesn't work for Windows 10 but you can still log in with the IP address. There is an update coming I called Netgear to find out and they told me they are working on the update. The performance of this router/modem is pretty good I'm an impatient person when it comes to my computer working fast opening Pages connecting and I see almost no lag time it has a 1.3 gigabyte a second connection with the 5 gigahertz bandwidth signal it is pretty good I definitely recommend

    Modem is gonna modem

I bought this to replace a modem that I lease from the cable company. It was suggested by the in house cable company rep. It works great and was easy to set up. It does not have a phone jack built in (as the leased one did), so I have to use a splitter and separate phone modem. I actually opted not to bother with that since I don't even use my home phone anymore.

This product was easy to install and so far has worked great with my TWC connection! I originally purchased the ARRIS SURFboard AC1600 SBG6700AC but the wifi signal dropped a fair amount and didn't reach as far as I expected. This netgear product has maintained connection and seems to reach a good bit further. Definitely worth the $20 extra over the ARRIS AC1600 and still cheaper than the ARRIS AC1750 equivalent.

Bought this router modem yesterday, to replace older Netgear AC1250. Has excellent coverage and improved speed. Was going to get AX wifi 6, but don't have any wifi 6 devices to justify the $400+ price. This NIGHTHAWK is the ultimate addition and will be useful for the next couple of years.....

Didn't expect the router to perform so well! Had the router for about a week so far and it's pretty great. I also have an ASUS RT-AC68P, which is a router only and cost around $180, but this modem/router combo performs pretty much the same and it's a two-in-one! Definitely worth it if you're not trying to buy the modem and router separately, performs well, and worth the money.
