This router modem combo was very easy to set up and works great!

After installing, this unit did not provide adequate range or consistent signal strength. Stepped up to the more powerful NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC3200 Wi-Fi Router with DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem. Now we have Wi-Fi!!!!

This was easy to set up and my internet is faster.

I did a little shopping around b4 settling on this one. I've had it for a cpl years now and have never had an issue, still going strong. Never noticed a problem with speed or connection either.. Definitely recommend!

This was extremely easy to setup with my Time Warner cable and I have not had anything go down yet. Wifi seems to be pretty strong throughout my house but I also made sure to have it centrally located. Was able to login and change the SSID and passwords easy enough. No complaints yet.

This combo modem/wireless router works great and setup is easy! The total setup time to install was about 15 minutes. My internet speed now went up from 92 mbps before to 214 mbps after this router replaced a leased TWC modem. Wi-fi easily handles multiple connection from different devices.

Works great when a channel gets too much traffic all I have to do is login in to the modem/router and change channels also the 5ghz is fast. Glad I can login in different devices and assign them to either 2.4ghz or 5ghz. Returned my rental modem, gonna be saving $11

i was looking to get rid of my current router that I was paying to rent through TWC and this is worth every penny. Super fast and lots of additional capacity. It's also nice saving $12 every month not having to pay for a WiFi and Lease fee on the router.

It works the way it's supposed to. One potential problem is that if your internet service provider provisions the firmware - which xfinity (comcast) and Astound (RCN) do - it doesn't appear to be possible to access the setup pages for the unit after the firmware has been installed. So, if you want to change your password or some other setting for the unit, you may have to contact your ISP to do it.

The Geek squad gave me the specs on what to look for in a product that would work for us. They did not disappoint. Very easy to set up. We were able to connect multiple devices have had no issues at all. I would recommend this to anyone.

This modem is NOT compatible with Cox Service. The Cox Web Page of Compatible Modems lists this modem/router as RECOMMENDED for packages including Ultimate. Well, that is wrong. I spent several hours this afternoon with both Cox and NETGEAR. NETGEAR says the serial number is valid for the product. Cox's system will not provision it. It gives an error message of the serial number not being in inventory which translated means NOT COMPATIBLE. This matter was escalated to the highest Cox Tech Support Level. This modem is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH COX COMMUNICATIONS (At least not in VA.) Someone at Cox made a serious error on it's Support Page of Compatible Modems. My one star rating and not recommending this modem to a friend has nothing to do with this product's quality. It is a rating of my personal experience. Think of this post as a public service message to Cox Customers and Best Buy who will avoid returned product from Cox Customers.

This modem router combo is great. My Internet speed has increased immensely. Initial investment is worth it as your free to go to any Internet Service Provider. Highly recommend.

Excellent item - very easy for a novice to install. This Netgear model replaced my old modem & router. Fast install and I really didn't need to call Xfinity but I did as I am not very technologically inclined.

seemed good and easy setup but no internet and called Comcast and they said not an option with them-returning it. Product has directions for Comcast even

I tried to get the best deal possible. This is the only Oceanic router I could find in 24hrs on Oahu. I paid just under $200, that's to the Best Buy reps. I recommend the device but not oceanic at all

I love it,it has a very strong wifi signal and very fast speed searching the web,Better any other comcast cable modem i purchase period,When you have multiple devices hooked up its very fast.

set unit up with ease until, Voip needs port forwarding, usually not an issue, followed the instructions, with no luck, used online tec support very poor online support, almost 2 hr later with no luck, so i decided to deal with the issue another day. 3 days after the first set up, the internet became very spotty, and finally quit altogether on day 4, after 2 more hours with tec support, we found the modem portion worked as it should, and the wifi worked as it should, but they did not work together bad connection in unit, best buy was very accommodating, net gear was not, i returned the unit and purchased Motorola - SURFboard eXtreme 802.11ac DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem and 4-Port Gigabit Ethernet Router, with no issues,

Setup was easy. I happy with the all in one unit which saves alot of space. Glad I got one.

I was hesitated in the beginning because of the price. After using it few weeks, I felt the product is really good, and help me to save the money from the internet company.

Looking for something that worked for Shentel service and this was just what we needed!
