    NO HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE

    Hello guys... I purchased this unit 6 months ago. (NETGEAR - AC1750) At that time the unit worked ok, meaning no drop signal or any issue but kind of slow which wasn't that much of noticeable... I let it go at the at that time thinking I have a year support from netgear. My other computer I never got to connect (don't know why). So, recently, the unit started dropping signals and had to reset the router and computer every time which took 5-8 min. I had it enough so I called. Spoke to rep and I was told that my warranty covers 90 days and they would have to charge me to extend. That made me mad, cause I paid over $200 at the time and was highly recommended by best buy. Honestly, I felt like NETGEAR intentionally programed this unit to bread down. I downloaded the new version and still cant get it to work properly. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS UNIT.... GOOD LUCK....

    Worked awesome when we first bought it, then right after the warranty ended it became a lovely paperweight. Completely dead, unable to register Internet from the modem. Charter also informed me that a $40 router would have done the job just as well.

    Drops Wifi Randomly

    Purchased March 3rd to replace another comcast modem that wasn't great. Had high expectations since this is supposedly a high end modem. after 3.5 months of perfect operation the modem drops both 5ghz and 2.4ghz wifi bands more than daily, the indicators stay lit showing they are still active, No device can "see" the networks, and the wifi on/off button on the modem stops working. A hard reset will temporarily solve it which takes 5-10 mins to finish. I called Netgear, they will not speak with me about he issue without paying for a "customer service membership" since it is more than 90 days old. 139$ to talk with them... insane.

    We are not happy with this unit !! you can't use it with Xfinity phone because there no port to plug it in. And it looks like there is way around it..?

    Keep lost my wireless

    I bought the Netgear C6300 a few months ago. It would disconnect when I am not home and never got re-connect. Actually, I cannot see my wireless!!! I called the NetGear support over and over again, no solution. They are trying to lure me to buy their third party support for $109. but this is new modem still in warranty!! I also called Time Warner, many times They sent many technician to my house to try to fix this issue. They did all possible thing then let use their modem. It is working perfectly. Then I went to BestBuy to get the new placement for my modem, It had the sane exact problem. It drops the wireless and stopped broadcasting. fortunately, I bought BestBuy 2 years warranty, I can get exchange a new modem DO NOT BUY THIS MODEM NETGEAR C6300

    Honest review after four months

    I can honestly say this was good choice at the time of purchase. However after four months of use the unit is starting to have issues. Sometimes the signal drops. The only way to resolve this is by restarting the unit. I did a quick research and came across several customers who have the same issue. Theres most likely a solution for this but looking for it takes up valuable time.

    Easy set up, worked better than ATT DSL equipment it replaced. Then suddenly it stopped working. Netgear customer service was easy to access but less than efficient in sending me a replacement. Still waiting for my "expedited" exchange.

    Nothing but trouble with this device. I set it up and followed the instructions from the nighthawk app, and the app no longer recognizes the modem/router. I get an error sometimes saying the firmware needs updated, but when I log into the router, nothing is there to update the firmware. I am having to reboot this thing at least two times a day because it stops working. If this is how it works its first week, I can't imagine what it will be like in a year. I'll be returning it this weekend.
