Easy set up, fast WiFi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a new router to replace the "free" one from the cable company... I read that routers should be replaced every 4-5 years due to improvements in technology. This seemed to fit the bill, and had greater abilities to allow my ever increasing number of WiFi devices to run at the same time. Install was easy, taking only 15 minutes. I did need to make one call to Brighthouse to have the signal re-sent during install, but ever since we have been up and running!

Work great for 300Mb Internet with TimeWarner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although my previous motorola modem supports 300Mb+ internet speed, we never experienced that speed from a physical wire connection or over wireless, even though we had the Ultimate 300 (330mb/2mb download/upload speed) package from Times Warner. When the motorola started having problem, I did some research and apparently Time Warners have a "sanctioned" list of modem to use and this was one of them. Although a tad more expensive then a few others, we bought this Netgear and it worked like a charm. We are definitely getting over 300Mb download speed when hooked up directly, and approx 150 to 200Mb over wifi (probably due to the limitation of the wifi dongle on the pc and wireless card on the MacBook). Note that buying this modem is all you need to setup internet and wifi at your home. It's both the modem router (that hooked to the Time Warner Coaxial connection) and a wifi hub to let your wifi enabled devices (phones, PCs, bluray etc) connect to it. The modem works as advertise and easy to setup. We are very happy with our purchase. Four stars because it is a bit pricier than the norm for this range of modem.

A very good and fast modem/router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Netgear customer for over 10 years and if you've used previous Netgear routers, you'll find your way around fast. It uses the same interface as previous models, is reliable - been up and running for a month without a single crash or anything -, doesn't get hot, and it is super fast! The only thing that bugs me a bit is that the firmware is not updatable, it seems Netgear has to stick to this version so it works with TWC... not ideal.

Better than most, cable, but Google hub is better.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trying to get better Internet in my house and I ponied up for this router. Gave me some better coverage, and got rid of the Comcast "rental" router but still spotty. It was REALLY easy to activate on Comcast. Also, not quite a replacement as it didn't have the phone jack... Returned it for a Google hub and was dramatically better reception. 13 antennas are better than four- for the money buy a Hub. Still need the lame Comcast one for cable connection, though- sigh..

Excellent WiFi Network Modem and Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to update the modem for my Cox cable. Decided to upgrade both modem and router at the same time. Excellent choice. The modem is much faster than the old one allowing the use of multiple devices at the same time. The router sends signals through the house with no problems. All of this is one neat package taking up less space with less wires and cables. Wish I had taken the time to upgrade sooner.

Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was fast. It keeps constant signal. I haven't had to reset it yet and I've had it for a month now. One concern is the Netgear genie app. You can't connect to your router and access settings the first time only, however after that you cannot. That may be an app issues or a router issue but it is an issue of you want quick access to configure your network. The router works phenomenally, the app not so much.

Very Good Combo Unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first, since this is a combo of a Modem/Router. Usually the interface to control this can be a bit messy. Set up was very simple, Internet was connected easily, just had to call in the MAC Address to my ISP. Wifi range is way better than the last router, and I guess my old router was getting old, since Internet is running smoother.

Wireless cable modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were upgrading to a faster Internet seed and needed a modem that was compatible and reliable. After reading other reviews we chose this model. It has exceeded our expectations. There is no loss in signal strength throughout the house. Very happy with our purchase.

Blame the internet provider.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great deal. I love using the two channels. One can make it further through my house but is not as great the other needs to be with in a few rooms but is faster and having that capability is amazing. The only think I think I can blame the Internet speed on now is the provider. I would like to see some same house same provider different router tests to find out what is the best option for someone's intended usage.

Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous modem coud not handle the traffic in my house. Too many phones, tablets, computers, and smart TV's. Streaming turned into a nightmare as did signal loss. The Netgear AC1750 has worked flawlessly. The speed tests show I am now getting the Xfinity speeds I am paying for. All devices are working without any drops or streaming issues. This was a great upgrade to my home internet.

Excellent Modem, easy set up and fast connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up a new combo modem/ router to get the most out of my broadband. Set up was easy, hardest part was dealing with the internet company. Router comes with quick set up guide with Router name and password. It is very fast, we have at least 15 devices connected and it supports gaming and movie streaming. Excellent device.

Good router/modem combo for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this modem/router as a replacement for an older set. So far, after about 2 months, it continues to function well. Every so often I have to reset it (due to lost internet signal), but I think that’s the cable company’s issue more than the device. It was easy to set up, as long as you follow the directions. The device itself was larger than expected, but I’d still recommend it.

Nearly perfect...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a replacement for a Comcast modem / router combo on a Saturday night. Ran to the local BB and picked this up. It took Comcast about an hour to "authenticate" it, but it's been running like a champ ever since. The only issue is that when I'm connecting with my 2 AppleTVs, my iPad, iPhone, the iMac and all the other stuff in my house, it sometimes gets a little slow, but I am *FAR* more likely to blame Comcast's network, or local network congestion for the slowdown than this modem. Usually, all it takes to fix it is a cold boot, but again, Comcast's fault, not the modem's. Setup was a breeze, love the remote stuff, and so far, so great.

Fast and reliable with Time Warner cable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is all I read it to be, blazing fast. I put it to use with Time Warner 200mbs cable package and hooked it up to a UPS. Wifi, using a Lenovo w540, flys along at 190mbs using 5ghz band so there really is no need to direct connect to the slightly faster onboard gbe ports. Easy to setup with popout guide. Took 5 minutes from box to passing traffic. I highly recommend this product.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I needed to get an upgraded Docsis 3.0 Modem to replace my old 2.0 one. I also have a big, solid house and had trouble with my signal at the back of the house unless I used an amplifier so I decided to replace my wireless router as well with something more powerful, hence this purchase. This product is probably the size of my old router and modem, combined, but it takes up less space since it stand vertically and it also means fewer wires. I get a full signal minus one bar at the back of the house without an amplifier now even though the signal has to go through roughly 4 or 5 walls and one floor and 65 feet to reach from the front of my second floor (product's location) to the TV by my treadmill on the ground floor at the back of the house.

Everything I Expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerful WiFi with reach through my two story 3000 Sq ft home. Dual band allows newer devices to connect at higher frequency. You still have to avoid putting an older 2.4 gightz phone near it,but newer phones use a different frequency that will not conflict with this modem/router's signals. I run a VOIP device through this for all my house phones and the quality is perfect.
