Good strong signal throughout an older home (lath, plaster, stucco) on this modem/router combo, and no need for an extender. Slightly taller profile than anticipated. Had a short time (only 2 wks) so I can't speak to long term functionality, but so far so good.

Right out of the box, this modem was easy to set up. I decided to stop paying leasing fees and purchase my own modem. Thankfully I purchased this product. Yes, the price was steep, but let me tell you won't go wrong with the performance of this great modem!

I bought another one ,but it was always going on and off. My wireless devices had trouble connecting. No trouble connecting with the netgear. Also the range is better throughout my house.

This modem increased the range of our original router dramatically. The max speed is way higher than the service I have from my internet provider, so it actually seems to squeeze out a bit more usage than I'm paying for! Very worth the money!

Ever get tired of that annoying Xfinity modem? This is the product for you! Amazing range and somehow speed tested at internet speeds above my limit. Range is large and can easily run 15+ devices depending on your internet

I bought this for a family member so that they could return the awful one provided by their ISP. They were constantly having issues with coverage and dropped signal with the one from their ISP and this solved the problem and then some, plus it save them $15 a month in rental. They are so much happier now. Their WiFi reaches further and is much stronger and more reliable than before. You will be very impressed with it, just like they were.

I purchased this modem/router to replace one that I have from my cable provider. It works great and does handle very well multiple devices at the same time buy one and save yourself some money down the road ,setup was fast and simple...

This is a great piece of hardware! Easy to setup, and really quick! I appreciate the inclusion of a 5G option because of my home network setup.

The unite is large compared to what I'm used to, but it's excellent in build quality. And it's reliable as all my Netgear products have been. Left Verizon to go to Time Warner Cable for our Internet connection. I had the choice of renting theirs or buying my own. I chose to buy my own as I soon realized I would just be giving TWC the money. So happy with this unite as it feels sturdy and reliable. Excellent coverage area for us with a large two story house. It works well for our outside as well. All TV DVR units are connected to it as well wirelessly as we're with DirecTV. All happy. Reaches down to our barn as well. So I'm very happy with it.

I bought this after returning a Netgear AC1600 gateway. I’m so happy I upgraded to the 1750 and not just get a replacement 1600. It has worked flawlessly and provide stable quick speeds. Easy setup and solid.

So far this cable modem has performed flawlessly, great signal everywhere and reliable, will pay for it self in just over one year and it is supported by all carriers in my area.

I bought this on recommendation of my internet provider because I was increasing my speed. This product has, so far, handled the signal very well. Setup was so easy. Highly recommend.

So overall very pleased. It isnt as long range as everyone had said but it works well enough. Set up was fairly easy. The 5G is really only useful if you are in close proximity. I do lile the ability to set up a home and guest network.

This was a breeze to set up and has worked flawlessly since we got it. It's been great getting the higher speeds from TW and the range throughout the house has been solid. It reaches across multiple floors without an issue.

It was easy to install and setup. We kept our network name so all of our devices remembered it and connected with no issues. We hsve been udingbit about two weeks now and our network is so much faster. We are very happy with this device.

The Arris I bought at Best Buy ran VERY hot and burned out within 2 months. This NetGear runs cool to the touch and makes my wifi and internet much speedier and with longer range than the Arris.

for my time warner cable modem @ now $9.00 per month and at the time of purchase $12 per month for renting Time Warners Cable Modem this has almost paid for itself. (I bought this April of 2014) it is easy to configure and the wifi has good range. I often do online gaming from my laptop with ease and am able to get good speeds. This combo modem/wifi router powers multiple wireless gadgets to include 3 Cell phones, 2 tablets, 1 laptop and and another at times, a PS4 and an Amazon Fire TV Box all with out a hitch for t he with out anything lagging up for the most part (see cons) Cons: **Even though on different channels and at times on different bands If I download a game on my laptop on wireless (5ghz band) it will more often than not lag up my PS4 which is on the 2.4ghz band. It makes no sense to me but it DOES happen. We also have an old laptop that only utilizes the 2.4 ghz band and it will lag my ps4 up too. The latter may be user error with the 8 channels ( I don't know if there is a setting I have to chose but the former boggles me ** at times I sometimes have to disconnect from the wifi router and reconnect because out of the blue I get the "limited" connection issue but a simple dc and reconnect fixes it. This problems happens about 1 a month or so. even with the above 2 cons I would rebuy this it was a great price has more than 1/2 way paid for itself, I have room for upgrading my internet speed. I am currently on the 2nd from highest time warner tier while on my laptop and my wife watching an Amazon prime movie I just clocked 203.66mbps down and 21.53 Mbps up. I would actually rate this 3.5 stars and I would rate it 5 stars if it were not for the 2 cons that I have .
