    its a decent modem does the job, however you have to restart (reset) the model time to time because of the speed, i had to call comcast asked them my internet speed was too slow and after the troubleshot it was because of the modem being lazy. I think it just doesnt keep up, maintain the high speed with the same level, this was my experience with this device. it still works and also keep in mind coverage area is also not too wide it gets weaker signals if you are over 30 feet away.

    It does what it's supposed to do. However, it seems like the range is a bit limited. I have a smaller home (about 1500 square feet) and it seems like it has dead spots of Wi-Fi connection. The Internet is fairly fast with it.

    This cable modem isn't the greatest but for the price it gets the job done. The cable company charges 15/month to rent theirs and this ended up being a better deal instead of having to rent from them each month.

    I bought this for my girlfriend so she wouldn't have to rent a modem and it works way better than the ones you get from the cable company. Ive never reset it and it has great range.

    This modem/router works as described and the cost savings (turned in the rented cable company's modem and router) was definitely worth it. The set up was pretty simple and we were connected in under 30 minutes.

    netgear dual band router works as well as the xfinity router and save some money .... after 10 mos i paid off my router on the money i would be paying for renting their router
