this router modem combo is good for beginner wireless users for use with a few devices. It works well with my Comcast internet service and was very easy to set up. I currently use with a laptop and it works well with this device.

Save your money and buy this instead of renting it from your cable provider.

Small form factor is great, considering other cable modem/router combos are much larger. The set up is fast and easy. The settings are easy to configure. Also, the wifi connection has been flawless after about 2 months use so far.

I bought this router/modem combo much like the other reviewers, in order to not pay Time Warner 15.00 a month. After weeks of research and thinking Netgear has always done right by me, I finally got off the pot and bought this one. While it works just fine as a modem, it has constant issues. The first and most problematic, the range is nowhere near as good as my old wireless router, another Netgear N600 standalone router. The second is that it needs to be reset every couple weeks or you can't log on. The most frustrating part is that I am now stuck with this 130 dollar dust collector, (past the return date) and I ended having to switch back to my old setup so I can stream Netflix in my living room. Time Warner gets to keep giving me it's 15 dollar a month prison love and I got was some hurt feelings and to waste my wasted time and money. This one burned me so bad that I won't be purchasing another Netgear product.

Easy to connect and register with any cable company. Real small and stands upright for easy storage. Great wi-fi range for mid sizes apartments. No connection lost. Recommend this modem for any one getting 75mps or higher internet speed.

i have owned this for long time. this works great. my internet works better with this product. this works better than the internet provider modem.

This router is reliable, but for the price I expected a little more than that. Have to restart it occasionally, but that happens. What I am most disappointment with is the range I can barely get a signal on my second floor, so either my home's build quality is amazing, or this router is sub par on the range. My wife works from home, so i had to utilize an in-line adapted to provide her a reliable connection. Now looking for a router to use as a repeater to help with the second floor. Not super-impressed for the price...

I have fast speeds most of the time, It has been know to slow down at a peak performance while at an apt bldg. But nothing that I had to wait very long for. I stream a lot of movies with no problems.
