Was finally able to stop paying to rent a modem/router from the cable company. This actually works better than the router they had given me.

I bought this modem because my old Motorola kept dropping. I tried the newer Motorola but that did not really help. I went to this one which was better but still had some issues. Comcast eventually decided there my be some interference but the problem just disappeared one day, In any case this modem works very well and is less expensive. The only downside is that it is much more difficult to set up than the Motorola modem. I am pretty tech savvy but still had to call Comcast to set it up, But it works great.

Works solid and the price was great. Wish I had done this a while back instead of paying cable companies.

This cable modem is the easiest I've installed to dat! plug and okay right out of the box! A great value and saved me five bucks per month on the cable bill!

I believe this would work just fine but I returned it because it only had 2 line connections.... I needed 4.... should've read the box before I purchased this item.

Does not allow phone hookup if you get xfinity triple play however has enough juice for higher internet speeds.
