Good for Cox Internet

You will spend maybe $7-$10 a month extra by renting from Cox. After 10 months you will have paid for it but not get to keep it, and have to keep paying for it. Do yourself a favor and just buy one and not rent from Cox. Downside? It only has a few internet ports. You might need to buy an extender to get more ports.

Does not play well with xfinity with wireless

Comcast customer service was useless, they could not help at all. It may work with other providers, but xfinity was an epic fail. I have A 150mb speed using the xfinity router, but it would not come close with the netgear wifi. When I plugged an Ethernet cable I could achieve 150MB. Buyer beware if using xfinity.

Good modem/router combo

The signal is somewhat slow/weak at time, but works well. It's smaller than an average modem but you would only need one since it's a combo. It does not have a phone jack so don't get it if you have a landline. If you get the basic, standard internet speed, it's very ideal.
