Not for me.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only have an 1,800 square foot home, and I do stream content on various smart TV's or things like Roku/Fire TV/etc. From the room the router is in to the next room, the signal degraded significantly. I used Netgear's Wifi Analytics app, and the signal strength went from 100% in the same room down to 70% in the next room. Various content I was streaming in the next room would either cut out or would freeze up due to these dips. This might be good for smaller homes, or for people who don't stream as much, but I have 4 TV's that might be streaming at the same time two computers, three tablets, and three phones connected to this network, and this one just did not work. Nothing against Netgear though, because I exchanged this one for a better Netgear router with a faster speed and longer range.

Better than cable provider

Since I don't pay for the fastest speeds my provider offers this does perfectly. Notice all providers says, speeds up to. That's the catch. up to speeds, I've never gotten up to those fastest speeds so why pay for them. It's free money in their pockets. Save your money, buy this combo modem and enjoy years of internet.

Works well for it's generation of wifi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comcast initial setup was literally plug in and they pushed a firmware update and then setup wifi name and password and I was connected. Works well in general and rarely restart it. Manages wifi traffic decently in an area with a lot of wireless networks in range. Best speed on the wifi is about 50Mbps per device which again in a crowded area it's pretty decent from a modem and router combo at this price point.

Ok, but loses signal
