    We have a 3,000 sq ft house and many devices like PS3, Wii U, three computers and half a dozen handhelds not to mention wifi cameras - I could not get 2.4 band in my Master above where this modem was. The 5g was very slow and in consistent. I had to take my old router and make it an AP to have internet in my room. Now, after a year and a half, the 2.4 radio went in it. I chucked it and bough the Netgear modem without wifi and bought a state of the art router - WOW what a difference! I can get my wifi three houses away! So, if you have a smaller house, this might be good for a few devices, but if you have a ton of devices (and Comcast) the performance will be poor.

    I was looking to cover the corners of a 2-stories house with a strong WiFi signal and this instrument has got the job done so far. It’s not the best in the market but for the deal I got during an offer I wouldn’t complain.

    This is a great all in one modem/router which definitely reduces the space and power requirements. I purchased this combo unit to replace an ailing N900 (WNDR4500) router and to have my own cable modem instead of renting one from TWC. I wish the router had the same specs that the N900 had but for my family this combo does the job that I need it to do at this point.
