This cable modem/router combo works well for the price. It's not going to give you the fastest speeds possible, but then you need to see what speed your ISP gives. This works fine for the service I have.

It comes with both modem and wifi router. There is no issue with wifi connectivity as I had some issue with other wifi router like the wifi signal would just get disconnected from time to time while browsing on phone.

Bought this for my Xfinity service as I don't want pay monthly for their device. Works fine no issues since I bought it 2 months ago. The ABS plastic is not as thick so I recommend not place it in surfaces that theres a risk of falling.

Its good for basic Internet users like my mom that checks email frequently but not for hardcore often users or people who have multiple devices connected such as over 5

I bought this by accident, thought I was replacing my old router, but as it turned out it was a modem and router combined. Uses less space. By accident good purchase.

Needed to upgrade the internet service at the beach house. Bought this to use for providing Wi-Fi to all the kids in the house using devices. Complaints were high before, but not so much now. Good product for its usage.

I switched from DSL to cable service so had to purchase new equipment. With DSL a combo modem/router unit did fine except the provider couldn't give the speed they promised. So I switched to cable. I purchased this item as it fit my budget but had trouble setting it up. (Probably my lack of expertise more than anything. Did some further reading online and decided I should use separate modem and router instead so I returned this unit and went beyond my budget and got a modem then purchased a dual band AC router. Also had to purchase a AC band adapter for my wife's pc to get on the 5ghz band upstairs and receive the faster speed. The product may be suitable for someone with more tech savvy than I have.

Product works great but installation was horrible. Product did not contain needed passcode spent over an hour with CSR to solve easy problem.

I bought it thinking that I can get up to 300 mbps as advertised but TWC says that this router supports only up to 100 mbps. I wish I can return it but unfortunately I already threw the box

When I set this up with my Comcast account, the tech said that it was a good model that I bought. So those of you looking for a router to buy instead of being charged monthly from Comcast, this brand is good.

I love having a router and modem all in one product so this made it easy for me to monitor and not have to pay the internet company for a rental....so in essence this will pay for itself in less than 8 months.

Really wanted to get this to ditch the Comcast "rental" modem, but decided to go with the triple play package and the Netgear does not support the phone line. If we switch to Vonage down the road will definitely consider switching back to this modem.

The quality of the product is good. I really saved a lot of money by owning the modem instead of renting it out from xfinity. Now their customer care is saying that this modem is not in their supported list.

Its good to have this for people who want router and modem in one and having internet plan of 100 mbps not more then 300 mbps its not good for that speed, it is good for 100 or less

You CANT update the firmware. It says your provider will update it. When did my provider agree to do that ? Why can't I update something I own ???

It's great for the two in one combo both a Moden anb wireless router. I was tired of paying for a cable modem and for this and eliminated the need to have 2 devices. Works great and have had no issues would recommend to anyone

I looked at several, with cost being a key factor, this worked for me, as Netflix and Amazon work well with it. Not sure how much the 5 gig does for it, and tweaking this model through Netgear's website,for me, is a ;little cumbersome.

Bought this so I wouldn't have to pay my cable company the equipment rental fee. It was easy to hook up. Called the cable company and was on my way. Great reception. My roommate is able to stream no problem.

I haven't paid that stupid modem fee for spectrum/time warner for over 7 years now, This item has paid itself over many many times! I only use it as a modem now as I plugged a netgear orbi to up the wifi range in the house.

I wondered how I could get a decent router modem to stop paying the monthly fee to Comcast and did some reviews. This netgear one works perfectly for their internet service and then you don't have to end up paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars to "rent" theirs.
