PROS Very fast download and upload speeds. Easy setup. Supported by major cable service providers. Excellent wireless throughput at 5GHz. CONS Expensive. Average 2.4GHz throughput. Little granular network control. BOTTOM LINE Netgear's C3700 Cable Modem Router is the only modem/router combo we've tested that makes adding a dedicated wireless router unnecessary for most users.

I wanted to be able to use FaceTime all over the house and outside. This machine works great!

Not the fastest unit I've tested, but plenty fast for a few PC's, an HDTV and a few smart phones. works fine for home use and has both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands for fast downloads if your phones support it.

This was my first purchase of router with built-in modem so i very pleased with it. Not dropped connection and a decent range. A little bit pricey but worth for a dual-band router.

Being a novice when it comes to computer and equipment the less pieces to work with the better! The NetGear combo was very easy to set up and the language of all the instructions were very clear.

This review is for a Netgear N600 Router and Modem combo. Hooks up easily and work great. I already owned a Netgear router that has worked great for two years now. I have owned this unit for two month, and have had no problems.

Recently moved from a home to a high rise and the cable modem/router they provided was simply not getting it. Spoke with a young man in the store and he suggested this unit. So far, so good!

An IT colleague recommended this brand. We are using netgear for the first time. The model is just fast enough for an average family of 3. Looking forward for longer usage.

The modem size is really good, doesn't get worm very fast. Compare to what I was paying to Comcast every month for their modem, this modem price was very affordable. I have very good internet speed, however, I was told at the store that the modem will speed my internet more, but the speed did not really change, just as normal. Overall, if you don't want to pay every month 10-15 dollars just for the modem this is very good product to invest in.

Achieved speeds over 230mb/sec 36gb downloads in under an hour! Blazing fast speeds I've never seen before, thank you netgear xfinity and bestbuy! Never once ran into some BS reset this unplug for 15 seconds garbage- just such a pleasure plug and play explosion! Warning! After purchasing it will make you question your previous life choices! Don't live in the past don't live your life with regret!

bought this modem/ router to replace the Xfinity when dropped their cable. gives a stronger signal then old unit and am able to get faster download. well worth the upgrade to stop renting when saving $$ by cutting the cord.

I have had it for just a couple of months but I have had to reboot it twice where it goes offline. I cant really tell if its the modem itself or my connection. overall good product for the price.

Working well so far in a 2 story town home. Sometimes drops a connection with one of our cell phones, but keeps it with everything else. Unknown if this is a product issue or cell phone issue.

Was having trouble with my old router not being able to pick up everyone's wifi connection in the house. This one does the job and more. I do not get kicked off my ps4 anymore!

Sometimes have to reset it, but suspect the cable company, not the modem / router. Dual band has been nice, as have a mix of PCs in my family.

The price wasn’t bad the box is OK just sometimes I get kicked off of my Internet I don’t know maybe it’s just needs to be tinkered with but for the price it’s OK for now

This is our first dual wireless router/modem and so far no complaints. Easy to install and on task as long as Comcast does their job of registering. Had to register it 3 times with Comcast!

The main reason I bought this is that it's compatible with Comcast service so I don't have to rent one for 10 bucks a month--it paid for itself in less than a year! The router easily handles several devices simultaneously, a cross both 2.4 and 5Ghz, and has good management software so you can find channels that aren't crowded. The wifi signal strength is also very good, as we can connect well on any floor of the house and from most of the front and back yard.

I have had this modem/router for a little over a month now and have been very happy with it. I use Comcast for my internet provider and this was one of the recommended modem/router for my service. It was very easy to setup and has yet to cause me any problems. I have had to reset it once since I've owned it but this is far less than my previous modem/router so I call that a win. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

I have a 2 bedroom apartment and I have good coverage, even though my router is close to the front door/front part of my apartment. I have Xfinity and the router can handle the speed I am paying for (100mbps) easily through the 5GHZ band of the router, as the 2.4GHZ band can only handle up to 20~ mbps. Haven’t had an issue yet, but I still paid for the 1 year warranty plan Best Buy offers just in case.
