    Nightmare to set up. Internet supplier here 3 times and failed. Phone tech eventually agreed it was faulty after an hour of 'heck'. Internet hardwired worked perfect. Never got wifi to work. Very pleased BestBuy took product back and let me trade towards a Motorola model.

    With this gateway as an upgrade to an 8-year-old Motorola gateway (which worked flawlessly and pretty well all those years) I was expecting a noticeable difference in my Ethernet connection internet speeds, which I've not seen, and I've not much to say one way or the other about the WiFi other than it works, which is enough for me. For all of the claimed improved technology built into this and similarly comparable gateways, all I seem to notice is how much heat this unit produces (it's not outrageous, but noticeable and sure, I get it: more capable components produce more heat, and all) but I am not at all convinced this upgrade was worth the effort researching different router/modem combos then gateways, or the money.
