    Investigate the tech support option, 6 mo from purchase. 1 yr on the gear. I bought one of these to replace an older 2.4Ghz only version at my church and didn't get a chance to install it for a few months. After a few months of operation things headed south. I had to bring back the older unit to bring the network back up. When I contacted NetGear that's when i was shocked to find out their tech support (email, chat, phone) is limited to 6mo. After that you have to pay. Really? I'm done with this brand forever.

    This router is one of the few compatible options for the service we are subscribed to. We are dissapointed with the wifi connection on various devices tried when upto 10ft away and router being visible.

    I expected faster speeds and better performance, but did not see that with this particular router. Ended up replacing it with a router from Comcast directly with much better speed.

    The signal from this router is no recommend for a big house i have not i big house and i don't have a good wifi signal ihave to be really close to it to have a good signal.

    Reason for 4 star is had to change this product twice during one year. Works great but for some reason configurations are reset on device and netgear doesnot support unless paid extra
