I was under the impression that I could use this instead of paying the monthly additional Bright-House modem charge. This unit is not compatible with Bright-House on the bundled package of phone-cable-internet service.

Item did not work as described. Installers proved the speed would only reach to 100mbps and it should've been at 300mbps. Now, I have to return this item.

I ended up calling support for help, not before being dropped and having to wait another 30 minutes being on hold. The customer service is why I'm giving a low rating

It's nice to have a modem and router bundled together but this one does not send strong signals. Avoid it and go for something better.

I was unable to get logged into the router through my phone. I tried for over 3 hours. I took it back and got a google mesh network and completely set up in 15 mins.

Awesome combo with 2.4 and 5GHz options

My cable internet provider has been giving me a ton of issues (bet you can't guess which one...) with my service just dropping constantly or watching my alleged 75Mbps turn into 500kbps. They claimed their network was upgraded so I needed to purchase a newer model modem. I did. Nothing changed and I dealt with bad connections for nearly two years.
Out of frustration I decided to just buy a whole new modem. I had been researching 5GHz options since I live in a condo building that appears to have a ton of congestion. This guy offers both 2.4 and 5GHz so you can switch as needed rather easily. The bonus was that it's a router/modem combo; less wires strewn across the house!
My 2.4GHz line doesn't seem terribly fast but I attribute that to the congestion in my building. The 5GHz line gets around 50Mbps and it's been consistent so I'm stoked. I believe my issue with not getting 75 at this point really just has to deal with my provider still. But I'm happy I made this purchase as it seems to have helped clear something up.

Dependable Modem/Router

Decent price for a dependable modem and I took advantage of bestbuy's low price guarantee. Dual band is a nice feature. It states on the box that it is ideal for large houses. Setup with TWC technical support only required that I provide the MAC serial number. Approximately less than 10 min and afterwards I alone setup security features. I haven't had any signal loss from this modem unlike the modem I leased from TWC. Give this modem/router a try.

The 2.4Ghz channel was not lighting up or working. I exchanged for the Netgear AC1900 and the 2.4 channel for it worked no problem. Not sure what the problem was but would not recommend.

Only worked for about two weeks. After being on the phone for an eternity with net gear support and time Warner cable, it was determined the net gear router was the problem. Never again.
