I got N600 dual bands router and it worked good for awhile. I ran firmware update then it started having problem: when power up all working for few hours after that I got no internet connection. Power down then up then it worked again.I end up turn off and on several times a day. The box said life time waranty. But when you get to the web site it indicates 90 days waranty. This is a lie. When looking for support it cost near $50 to get any supports.

Had been having issues with 1.5 year old Modem router, so bought this Netgear. Within 5 days, similar issues, & called cable company again. I was certainly having wifi issues that affected everything from Ipad to Desktop to printer. Cox tried everything, finally suggesting that I return this modem router, which I did .. and then got something different.

A Waste of Time

I have tried two devices of this model. Although it says it's compatible with Xfinity, I always have some connection issues with this device, and I wasted several hours by contacting agents and making appointments with Comcast.
The problem is fixed until I replaced with a totally different device.

Do not purchase this router/modem!!!!!!!!!!! It over heats due to poor design. Mine was stable for about 3 months after that I had to keep a fan on it. Luckily I purchased the protection plan and took it back.

Went bad after 9 months; tried to contact Netgear for warranty replacement. Stayed on hold an hour and never got a live voice. Will never buy another Netgear product because of poor service.
