I recently moved to a new county and had to change internet providers, went from AT&T to Cox. With Cox I could rent a modem or buy my own. It made more sense to buy my own with the strength I wanted. It was super easy to install, just plug in provide the info on the modem to the provider and boom you have internet. I easily have two computers, three phones, and AppleTV or iPad all running at the same time and have yet to experience any lag or streaming/connection issues. It may be too soon to give it such a great review having only used it for 3weeks or so. But thus far it works perfect!!!

I have purchased two of these routers in the last six months and am extremely satisfied. Set up takes less than ten minutes, and router has a very strong signal. Really is state of the art and includes two separate networks, one on a standard channel, and one network with a 5G connection. Essentially, not everyone has to be on one network slowing the bandwith down. Very happy with purchase.

This cable modem replaced two devices at one time: (1) an older and slower cable modem, and (2) the Apple Airport Express connected to it to provide wifi. Now I only need the one device and fewer wires and adapters. It was very easy to set up. The people at Comcast Xfinity were very helpful and activated it over the phone in just a few minutes. Now our ethernet and wifi are much faster than before. Since we don't have to pay Comcast the monthly rental fee, this modem will pay for itself in about a year or so.

Got this as my older NETGEAR MODEM was busted due to some FW Upgrade which I couldnt repair as the replacement was almost 60$ for them to take a look at the Device. I would rather buy a 2-in-1 Combo new than repairing. So coming to this It is compact and easy to setup with the weight and size. It also occupies less space (not as big as the Comcast 2-in-1 one Devices) This still matches upto the speed and has been so far good with the way it has worked. No issues so far.

This modem is easy to set up. Once the modem is on the internet it is already set up with a secured wireless connection and password. It comes with dual bands and both are secured. All the information needed to access the modem setup is located on the bottom of the modem. So there is no searching when trying to access the setup functions. So far I have had no difficulties in using the modem.

Bought this device about two weeks ago. Setup was a snap. I consider myself a medium-advanced user. This unit replaced a Linksys Wrt54GS wireless G gateway router. What I have enjoyed about the new router: (1) gigabit speed on my home network, (2) the guest network capabilities on both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz, (3) the ability to connect wirelessly on a 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz simultaneously. I also enjoy the automatic firmware update on the device. Whenever you access the setup port (192.186.1.1), it automatically checks to see if there is a firmware update and will download it and install it automatically if you allow. My only disappointment with the router is that I can not consistently use the wireless signal in my bedroom, which happens to be the furthest point in my house from the router (3100 ft). I can use it there occassionally, it depends on weather, atmosphere, etc. I was surprised that my range actually decreased from the version 1 WRT54GS I had previously, but that device had two small antennas and this one has none. Overall, I am very pleased with the device and recommend it. Caveat, until a wireless N repeater is available, it may not meet your range requirements.

This is a very good router. I am connecting 4 devices wirelessly with no problems. My place is about 1,500 sq. ft. And have no problems anywhere in the house with connecting. I'm also steaming wirelessly to my smart tv. Overall good product

This is a though review to write. I had very low expectations for this unit. I have had problems with Netgear in the past. But let me tell you I set this up in central Florida (Brighthouse) and it has been working great. I run both the 2.4 and the 5.0 and a Guest of 2.4. and they all run great. I don't get the best range out of the 5.0 but that was to be expected. Other units have giving me more range with 5.0 so thats the only reason I even bring this up. I wish they had more options like Linksys as far as checking in on the app when your not home. I'm aware I can engage the Remote IP and I have but the other tools make it much more efficient in my opinion. I am not plagued by these disconnects I read about in some reviews. I have always felt one you get a feel for your network and the network around you and select channels that are used by no one or barely anyone you should be good on the disconnecting front. Overall it was a great purchase at a great price. I am no longer being charge for a rental fee for a modem and a "wireless" fee. This thing will pay for itself in a little over a year. Hope this helps anyone thinking to buy.

Modem/Router is very tiny and having very great speed. Very easy to set up as well so you do not have to pay to engineer of the service provider additional installation cost. Only thing to look for is ur service provider should support cable modem because not all service provider provide service via cable modem.

I was going to buy the AC1750, but James, the sales manager of the department, said that I didn't need that much for the area I had. He recommended this one and it has worked just as I had hoped. Very easy to set up, I just had to call Comcast to register it. That took longer than the set up. After that, it's been working great for the month I've had it. I'm glad I chose this modem/router and I'm saving $10/month in rental fees!

If, like me, you live in a small 2-bedroom apartment, this router is for you. I always got a solid 4 bars (highest signal indicator) in the living room where the router is, and 3- 4 bars in my bedroom. The speed is always at or above what I paid for. I have Comcast 25, with 5G band, I always got 30Mbps. Another nice thing about this router is the dual band, if your device has 2.4 and 5 wifi band, you can avoid the congested internet traffic and the speed is also faster. I would definitely recommend this product. Of course if you live in a big house and/or you have a blast internet (Comcast 100), you have to look for something else.

This product has made my computer speed up tremendously! It was simple to hook up and install on my computer. I am a NON techie...for sure, and I did it easily and simply. I learned recently that if your router or modem is more than 3 years old, it does not work efficiently with the newer applications. What this means is that a new router/modem speeds up your computer, saving yourself a lot of time!!

Comcast wanted to charge me almost $200 for this exact model or to rent one to me for $11.00 per month plus taxes. This was a much better purchase from Best Buy. Speed has been good for streaming Netflix. Easy to hook up
