It's a modem w wifi.. Plug it in. Really not much else to say about something so basic, although it took several hours to connect and become operable.i remember talking to a tech person who walked me thru all that, but in the end, it connected and stayed connected. Nice to have one device do both jobs.

Easy to install and operate. But as time goes on observed that the net speed goes but down

Works great with my home Comcast and it’s better than renting from Comcast. Good price when you can find it on sale.

I purchased this to upgrade the TWC one I had (and was paying for monthly) this was an awesome investment and I highly recommend it.

Didn't take long to install. Basically plug in Ethernet cable, Tv cable and it was good to go.

I am running a funky media system to avoid comcast stb charges and tivo monthly subscriptions. I have a windows 8 computer running media center, silicon dust prime cable card 3 channel tuner and xbox 360 as a media extender. I tried a number of other configurations but I had problems with the xbox recognizing my media center or not getting full download speed via wifi. This is the only configuration that gives me full media extender capabilities and 115 mbs download speed to my ipads iphones and wifi pc access.

I was very pleased with the ease of installing this product and it works great alter out the house

modem/router to replace time warner's. works as well if not better. will pay for itself in 8 mons.

If would have did my research I would have bought a faster more powerful one no matter the price.

Set up was very smooth and quick. Replaced a Comcast modem and the monthly rental fee.

The wireless router/modem has proven to provide a great service and coverage throughout my home..

This product is easy to setup and works fine. The app is not as effective but you dont really need it.

I highly recommend the Netgear wireless modem & router. Very good performance at a reasonable price.

Easy to set up and use. Sales staff highly recommended this to me to fit my needs. Would recommend to others if they are looking to replace their modem for Comcast, cheaper than paying for it each month, you could save so much by purchasing this instead of paying Comcast for it.

I have chosen this device to avoid have two items (modem and router). My house has 4 levels, attic to basement. When I put it on ground level the attic had low signal. I put it on the 1st floor and I solved the majority of the issues. We are not light users. My son is watching Netflix, the other is playing online video games like psi and lol, I am watching YouTube on the tv plus all the applications on 4 mob phones, a tablet and a laptop.
