I have been using this router for about two weeks and it has been great. I have Cox cable and the tech was able to set it up quickly. Range is pretty good in my house even though router is at one end of the house. Connection speed seems good but have not tested on line.

This wireless modem router is one of the most cost efficient and reliable products that can be purchased through major retailers. My experience so far involves a flawless operation and satisfactory performance. Easy interface to set up. Compatible with my Time Warner cable service in NYC.

this product was purchased when we decided to get a different internet system for our house and business. I was instructed by the technician to get a mid grade router. After reading customer reviews I I decide to purchase the net gear n600. We have even very pleased with this products performance coverage and dependability.

Over all good modem-router, not the best! But keep in mind best ones cost twice as much! And do you really need them! For home use it's the best value! Signal strenght is ok! Speed too! DLNA capability and USB nice!

Speeds were fast and it was easy to setup. We were able to return the Xfinity router to save the costs on the monthly rentals. Now I would have gone with the Xfinity router (Arris TG862GCT) if I was doing it again. The new ones function better and are worth the extra cash.

I wanted to find a product that I would not have to purchase in a few years due to upgrades and faster downloads. I didn't want to continue leasing equipment from the internet providers. I previously bought cheaper products after researching online consumer reports but the products didn't meet the demands of my household. I decided to spend a little more money and bought this product. This meets the demands of a gamer; and other people who use streaming products at the same time. Plus this was easy to install and connect to internet quickly because I am NOT tech savvy.

This was a replacement for the modem with Wi-Fi to eliminate the monthly rental fee from my service provider. The break-even for cost on my plan is one year. Once connected to the laptop and tablet, it has no delay in reconnecting when I return home. The same cannot be said for connecting to my phone. Both cell & tablet are Samsung Galaxy with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and both are set to automatically connect. I have been able to get a fix from either Samsung or Netgear. It is not a big deal, but I DO lose a few minutes while either the laptop or tablet go through the turning on processes or waiting for the phone to connect (since it is always on). The product works well once all are ready to go; and, it takes much less room. More a comment to Best Buy... of over 10+ years, this was the rudest and most condescending sales associate EVER in ANY Best Buy Store in LA, Orange, Riverside and Ventura Counties!!

Purchased this as a replacement for my in-laws' old equipment. Setup was easy and the unit works well. The folks commented on better connection speeds. We were looking for something simple that they could manage and this fit the bill. Good performance so far. When I visit I connect right in without issue.

Why pay your ISP high dollar for a mediocre modem when you can have a nice modem like this. Modem and Wi-Fi router all in one. It was simple to set up and has great range. We use this for home use laptop, tablet, cell phone and gaming. The dual band is really great! Very pleased with my purchase.

Setting up this system was easier than I thought. I was able to set up two WiFi network - one for video streaming system; Smart TV, XBOX, Blue Ray entertainment system (Netflix), etc and the other for computing. The signal is stronger than the wireless router I replaced and it is humming away.

This Netgear combination router and cable modem provided the needed increase in speed. With the combination design I was able to eliminate one piece of hardware from the home office clutter. Setup is very simple, plug and play.

We replaced our old router with this product because we were looking for a stronger signal and a larger distance. This router was able to broadcast a signal throughout our 1000 sq ft, 100 yr old, brick (probably lead paint somewhere), apartment with little problem. Previous routers were not able to reach from the living room in the front of the space to the bedroom all the way in the back. We have since purchased a house (1500sq ft) and the router is pretty centrally located. It is still doing great. NOTE: if you have COX, you will have to call them to set it up, because it is not on their list of "approved routers for self install". They will have to click a button they don't let us see. That is our only annoyance (and its a Cox problem), other than that it is great!

the salesperson at the store recommended this product as 2 in 1 ,plus saving money on my monthly modem rental from Comcast and the price was right. it was a very easy set up and worked like a charm. definitely recommend it .

Its working perfectly well. . The speed of internet is not impacted.. I would recommend this product .. not sure how it works when multiple devices are connected.. I have 2 devices connected and its working good with no disturbances with wifi..

The N600 has been up and running for over 30 days. It is reliable and the configuration software is functional and easy to use. It was a lot less expensive than others but I can't see why folks would need more. I got to replace my rented modem. Yeah! About 3 years late but glad I did. Please don't make me think about the fact that I paid TWC $360 over the course of 3 years for an inferior modem!

This router is excellent. I bought it to stop paying the "rental fee" on my cable bill. I am very pleased with it. It was easy to set up, it has a great range and connectivity. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stop paying the cable company for the use of a modem/router.

After having so many issues with our previous gateway (a different brand), I returned it and bought this one. It works great and I haven't had to reset it once. Installed right away and has been easy to connect everything to. I will be sticking with Netgear from here on out.

Looking for a way to extend my home Wi-Fi network. The Best Buy associated recommended this unit because of its low profile and ease of set up. He was right on both accounts
