    Previous modem from service provider kept loosing connection- which was causing problems with my work at home internet phone and computer. This new modem is great - have had for 3 months and haven't lost connection at all!! Was easy to install also!!

    PROS Very fast download and upload speeds. Easy setup. Supported by major cable service providers. Excellent wireless throughput at 5GHz. CONS Expensive. Average 2.4GHz throughput. Little granular network control. There will be few hiccups especially while playing online games on my phone. Overall the Netgear's C3700 Cable Modem Router is the only modem/router combo we've tested that makes adding a dedicated wireless router unnecessary for most users. The WiFi extender May need based on area but I can over all it reached above expectations after replacing with xfinity Modem in my view.

    The UI is easy to use, and the dual band option is great. The biggest downside is that it only has 2 CAT5 hook ups. I was able to work around this, but I had to be creative, and 2 more on the unit would have been perfect.

    This is a great product. My family is tech savy. From iPods, iPads, laptops and game concels this modem can keep up. Has a built in router so there's no need to buy anything extra. Setup was easy and fast. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

    Bought this to replace an old T-Mobile wifi router and old modem. Along with the net gear extender we have good coverage throughout our three level home. Easy to setup and get going and manage from your computer or tablet.

    This Netgear dual band N600 is an excellent option for Xfinity cable internet. It has a strong signal and is easy to set up - if you are able to connect with the cable company’s tech team.
