The Zoom put out roughly 20Mbps over Wifi, 150Mbps via ethernet. This unit is definitely better on the Wifi end, putting out 50-60Mbps. But, the ethernet only puts out around 80Mbps, and it only has three ethernet ports. Good for the price I paid.

I like the dual channels 2.4 and 5 -there are more people bogging down the 2.4 ch and it tends to be slower in my area but the 5.0 is always fast-thats what I use to stream to my tv.

It works like a charm. The salesman was so helpful and informative and friendly. Glad I took his advice.

serves its purpose and saves money off Xfinity

The only problem for me is that not all devices detect the second wifi access point. But signal is decent. It serves its purpose as one of the cheaper models compatible with Xfinity.

We use one for ohones and computers and the ither cor televisions. The wifi strength seems to be weak though, weve had to move the router around the house for the "optimal" performance.

However, the wireless doesn't go far enough. I have it on my 4th floor. When I'm on my 1st floor I get very little wireless signal. I would recommend this to friends, but they have to be close to the device for better wireless signal.
