However, if you have phone service with your internet provider, this will not work. I did not want the phone service but it was a package deal so I got it. They called me the day after I hooked up the modem/router to let me know that it was the wrong kind and I couldn't keep the service with that router. It worked out better for me anyway though, I didn't want the phone and the person who assisted me got me a better deal on internet so it was an overall win. Easy to set up and change the name/password.

We use one for ohones and computers and the ither cor televisions. The wifi strength seems to be weak though, weve had to move the router around the house for the "optimal" performance.

It's a very good device!

However, the wireless doesn't go far enough. I have it on my 4th floor. When I'm on my 1st floor I get very little wireless signal. I would recommend this to friends, but they have to be close to the device for better wireless signal.

a good value wireless router for anyone who wants

We did have some issues with the reliability of its wireless speed, but for the most part the router performed very well. I would recommend this to a friend!

NetGear is the best!

This Netgear modem is easy to install, and has given me no problems at all and works like a champ! Buy NETGEAR!!!
