I am not at all tech-savvy, but wanted to "cut the cord". needed a good reliable internet and wanted to save $10 modem rental fee. I signed up for Comcast, checked online for router/modem combos, and found this little gem. The installer said I made a great choice, the price was right, and it works perfectly! I am streaming DirectNow. My internet speed is 60 mbps, but the tech from Comcast said this router would definitely handle higher. Great purchase, highly recommend

I bought this while switching from AT&T to Comcast. Main reasons to buy it compared to another “approved” modem for Comcast: 1) It can handle two frequencies at the same time as opposed to the similarly priced approved modem which says it can handle 2 frequencies, but the fine print says “but not at the same time”. 2) NetGear Genie - heard good things about it Happy with the easy setup and the Genie mac and iPad apps. Knocking off a star since the setup of USBDrive for sharing across the home did not work for me. Took a while and then I gave up. Buying this is definitely better than paying a monthly rent for a modem.

I bought this router when the promotion that let me rent my previous router for free ended. Considering I will spare 10$ a month in less than 9 months it will have paid itself, not bad! I am using it with several devices at the same time and haven’t had any problem so far. I think the fact that I can put older devices on one band and the newer on the other helps. No problem with streaming HD videos on my Mac from Netflix or Xfinity. I tried to hook up an external HD to use it as a NAS: it is pretty easy to set-up and works well. The only problem is that when I needed to remove the HD it took forever to unmount it and I had to restart the router. I would say, the NAS function works well if you have a dedicated external HD that you don’t need to remove.

Easy to use and set up. I can run 3 laptops and 4 Smart Phones with no lag or slow loading times. The range is very good too, even with the router 3 rooms away the signal does not drop from full strength.

I have had many great experiences with Netgear at least with DSL. However, the new one is for cable and it is performing as expected. An amazing buy when on sale.

This modem and router combo is easy to install and set up. I love it that I no longer have 2 boxes to find room for. I'm now up to date with the standards set by Cox. All is speedy and working well.

Pretty fast and convenient having 1 device set up for my Internet. Haven't had any problems yet and hope It stays that way. Price match when u buy there's always somewhere selling it cheaper than best buy and not ebay cuz they don't price match ebay.

I recently switched to TWC as my internet provider and needed a cable modem. I have been very happy with the reliability and speed of the service with this equipment. I searched around for these online first and am convinced I got the best deal.

The Netgear N600 dual band wireless router and modem in one unit is sleek and takes up less space on my computer desk. Also, the dual band router gives me two different networks for better wireless service. I would highly recommend this product!

I like the fact that I was able to combine the modem and router into one unit. It was easy to connect and set up for a "non-tech'" individual like myself. The increase in speed was awesome. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade.

I got this for my time Warner cable service, it works great and reaches max speeds.however on some occasions it loses connection (idk if it's my service our the router) but over all it's a great router!

Great reception, terrific speed, easy to install. Loved the speed from the modem. We have 3-5 units working at any time and it handles the load quite well. Never had a blip or stoppage of downloads. Seems like a perfect fit for our home.

Working like a charm with Comcast/Xfinity service. Easy setup and no problems. In only 9 more months, it will have paid for itself by avoiding the $10 monthly lease.

Has good coverage area but it could have been made to cover larger area. Perfect for a 2 BR Apt, not sure in bigger area. Speed is not throttled and the WIFI provide the same speed as the the provider. Dual band is surely an advantage.

I bought this combo unit to get rid of my Comcast modem/router combo that has been costing me $8 to $10 for years. This unit is not as strong as the Comcast unit and it does drop signal occasionally while streaming Netflix or Hulu on the other side of the house. I probably will return this for the stronger Netgear modem/router combo. Setup was super easy and Netgear makes very good products.

connecting with comcast cable was easy. The overall setup took less than 15 minutes. The speed I get is atleast 5-10 times better than what I used to get with comcast's rented modem. It also supports 5g. This a great product.

This modem/router combo has been pretty reliable (there have been some spotty times, but that could be an Xfinity issue). I haven't had to reset a lot and the setup was very straight forward.
