I just moved and needed a router for my Xfinity internet connection and it looked like my only option was to lease one. But after some research, I found out there are several compatible brands and models that can easily replace the service provider option. This one has a great coverage and strong signal. I don't have a slow signal and works pretty well with several devices connected at the same time.

We purchased this item thinking we would get the best product. Within the first month, we started having problems. Each time I'd call Xfinity, we would run through the issues and work arounds to find out if it is my modem or the wiring issues. The connectivity would start working and then it'd work EXTREMELY slow until it stopped. I noticed that the cable connection area would get very warm/hot to the touch, even when no internet was being used and the AC was on in the house. Called Xfinity back, kept my appointment with the technician and found out that our modem is the reason for our issues and that it's going bad. We have only had this modem for 8 months.

But the range is kind of iffy. It also says compatible with cox cable, but cox had to send someone out multiple times to get it set up properly.

I've only had a couple of internet hiccups, but not sure the router had anything to do with it. It might have been my device disconnecting.

My husband bought the router because our old one wasn't working anymore. It wasn't compatible with our new tv and apple device.

The net gear router I purchased was very easy to set up, and has made my internet much quicker.

I bough this router/modem for my 3 bedroom home. I currently have Time Warner Cable and I have saved me some monthly unwanted "rental" fee's. Plug and play item, since it is a router/modem you do have to call and activate it through your internet service provider (isp). So far it has worked great at a reasonable price.

Exactly as expected. This was the provider's recommendation. Didn't do too much research but seems to be fine.

I purchased this item to replace the rental modem from Time Warner. The salesman at BBuy was wonderful in advising me. He showed me the top of the line for many internet users in the family and the low cost for mimimual usage. This product is fine for me and guests. A few problems with set up, just read the directions and don't ab lib.........

Purchased this to replace my ISP modem through Atlantic broadband and it's worked perfectly. I have not had any issues playing online games. Highly recommend for anyone. It is placed in the 2nd floor and it reaches out front and out back of my house without an extender.

Quick easy set up but cord was not included. That piece of info would’ve been nice to have so I didn’t have to make an additional trip to the store when ready for the activation of my internet service upon arrival at my new apartment.
