But the range is kind of iffy. It also says compatible with cox cable, but cox had to send someone out multiple times to get it set up properly.

I am a big fan of NETGEAR routers but this is the first time I have used their modem/routers. This is perfect for anyone that is looking to avoid the monthly rental fees from Comcast BUT there is a catch. In order to actually use the modem/router, you will need to contact your service provider and have them activate so it can receive internet service.

I read the reviews and this product had excellent reviews but after purchasing it I think this product is overrated. The wifi quality is bad. It keeps dropping and the 5ghz doesn't always work. And their customer support is horrible. You have to PAY to recieve customer support from netgear lol. What a joke. And if something is wrong with your item then you have to pay to return the item. Save yourself the hassle and buy something else.

It is very slim so it fits nicely on my desk. Easy set up.

The app doesn't work well but the router is FANTASTIC. Gives you the option to add a guest password and dual logins. The devices will either recognize both IDs or just one.

Wanted to replace our rented combo modem/router, to help reduce our internet bill - shopped around and got this on sale - I like the combo modem/router as opposed to separate modem and separate router - it works great - easy to set up - we use it a lot to stream our favorite shows - sometimes there is a drop - but, for the most part, works great most of the time
