Netgear N600 is a great dual wireless N router. Most of the cable/internet companies recommend this model. Instead of paying monthly rental fees, your better off purchasing your own. Also, usually it's advisable to purchase the router separate and the modem separate. It just depends on the square footage you live in. For a 1,250 square feet, it does a good job of coverage.

I just looked in store for a cheap modem/router that works for Comcast and bought this. Using for a month and didn't see any issues. Noticed that the range is a bit limited. But just moved it a bit and got it working. Wouldn't recommed for very big homes but should be fine for apartments.

Not strong enough and I have smart tv iPhone and iPad I'm a 1100 square foot home Slow when on iPad ( new) So returning it cause it pauses smart hub tv, iPad app I'm on logs off So off I go to search something stronger Can't believe it Works when it feels like it :-(

works real well - fast speed - easy to set up - good bargain

Was getting charged $13 a month to rent a router from Comcast. Bought my own and upgraded my internet service to the next tier and I'm still $3 ahead per month. I suggest you do the same, even if you don't upgrade your service. Router will pay for itself after a few months with the money you save.

Purchased this modem/router to pair with Cox internet. Works perfectly. We have many 10+ wireless connections running at any given time with no issues.

I looked at all the other wifi routers on the market and found Netgear to be highly rated. I'm glad I made the choice to purchase this product for myself.

This is a nice combo modem and router. Very easy to install and configure. Pay close attention to this: If you need to VPN back to work this is not the unit for you. It has a known firmware issue that Netgear is not fixing any time soon. They say they have a temporary patch but it doesn't work. Otherwise this is a good unit.

Recently switched from uverse to xfinity and found I could purchase a modem/router instead of renting so after research I found this model. Bought one for me and one for my parents. Easy to install, preassigned passwords are easy to remember. Have not had any connectivity issues and the signal strength is great through out the house

I have not tried product. I exchanged a modem/router that was not compatible with Cable One. David knew what I needed. He also handled another question.

Does the job and does it well. I wish the range was a tad better I only get two bars less than 50 feet away

It is occasionally disconnected itself but works fine after I reset it.
