Not the best range

Not bad for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were replacing another NetGear modem and router with this NetGear combination in hopes of increasing our WiFi range as our system is set up in the basement due to how the house was built, and our 2nd floor signal strength was limited. With this item, we unfortunately have not seen much improvement in that signal reach.

Needed stronger modum

Worth the price

A small complaint is that the 2.4GHz band sometimes cuts out (while the 5GHz band works fine) and I have to restart the router. Some of my devices are older ones which can only connect to the 2.4GHz band. All in all though, I'm happy with the purchase.

Good Product needs a boost at times

The router works great in the living room and office area but we had to get an extender to help it out in the bedrooms which are on the other side of the house. It has great speed otherwise and we are happy with the performance.
