Very fast and reliable internet speeds with dual band capability

This is a great router for an apartment with few walls. We have a medium size home with several walls. The router works great in the living room and office area but we had to get an extender to help it out in the bedrooms which are on the other side of the house. It has great speed otherwise and we are happy with the performance.

We've had this for about two months now and so far it's been working great! We used to have trouble staying connected to our home Wi-Fi with our phones on our old router but we no longer have that problem with this router/modem combo. Also, setup was about as easy as it gets! No need for Geek Sqaud. Just about anyone should be able to set this up.

I purchased this because I didn't want to rent a cable for $8/month plus get a wireless router. This does the job well.

We cut the cable and wanted to buy a router modem for the Internet & smart TV. This unit was recommended by the sales staff at Best Buy and we are very happy with the performance. At first we could not hook to the Internet so we called our provider, they provided NO assistance. Call NetGear, they know what they are doing. Very pleased with this product.

Although you can't get that blinding speed that you were promised with your cable bundle, this modem does help you tap into more MB's than your average router. It pays for itself in about a year of no modem rental charges.

Very fast, durable, and sleek looking. Warning: Don't let it tip over because you'll lose connection. I thought our provider was the reason our internet went out, come to find out it was only because the router had slightly pulled back from the weight of the wires causing it to not be completely vertical.

The only thing is it said it was for large homes but I don't get a strong signal in my home and its not a large home

Got this to replace a Motorola product that started to drop my internet on a regular basis. So far (1 month) it has been reliable except for 1 day. I retightened my connections and that seemed to take care of my issue. As I said I've only had it a month so it may be too soon to say its reliable.

It has great speed in our 1800 sf home. Easy to intall and use. Great buy
