I got tired of the inconsistency of the comcast rental. Very happy with this router. I haven't lost connectivity. That's obviously key.

The N600 has lightening speed, but the dual channel part gets complex in that some devices appear have to be preset to one or the other channel names rather than just going with the optimum under existing conditions. Upon installation of this router I've lost the Windows Remote Desktop connectivity that was an important part of my particularly network, and can only attribute this loss to the new network. Worked with Netgear tech support (Philippines based) for a full hour on the problem and we did eventually allow computer 1 to see computer 2 via Remote Desktop for a second before it froze. At that point we'd both run out of patience and the technician blamed the problem on Microsoft. Original old Netgear router had died and I'm considering tossing the new one in favor of the competitor's unit.

Installed in accordance to directions. Some difficulty operating wireless peripherals after installation.

We have been using this router now for 2 weeks with no problems, no interruptions, no failures.

Router works well. Easy to install. Better than renting one.

Just that its priced high, Price Match was certainly helpful.

Love and easy to used. I don't like paying the cable money for something that is not mine. Saved a lot of money.

This is a good value for the price I paid. Now I don't have to pay a monthly fee to my internet provider.

I bought this router on the recommendation of a Best Buy employee in the computer section. I told him what I needed and this is what I got. An under powered unit that over heated and shut down. Not good. I am sure this unit might be able to handle one laptop, one desktop, and one cell phone, but any more than that and your driving in reverse. I will be returning the unit.

This unit replaced a WoW cable modem/router and provides multi-band capability. Very happy with all Netgear units I have ever used.

This cable modem worked great right out of the box. Got help from Verizon rep at Best Buy who initialized it for me right at the store!

Excellent download speed though I have many devices setup. Like the network drive feature.

BB did well here. i got this for my daughter's college apt. they had all the right ones set out front for move in day. Set up was so easy, all i did was call the isp and give them the MAC. Set a wifi password and we were up and running in 15 minutes,

Produced speed over 100 mbps. Purchased in conjunction with NetGear USB wifi adapter Dual Band Model A6210. Only 2 outlets for Cat5 cables, but his is shown in description Not much detailed instructions. If not Tech Savvy, may need some help with installation ?

This modem/router is a great device to have to replace the standard, and inadequate, modem/router that the company rents to you. Best to buy this device, and it will pay for itself in a few months. Not to mention, you will enjoy your internet service so much more.

Excellent product size is great and the job it does is excelent
