Provided an extended range. Set up was not easy initially. It had to be reset to factory settings a few times before the setup netgear network was made available to existing router.on the that was done it works great.

I cannot see that it is making our signal stronger or extending it beyond the regular distance.

I have a Netgear modem and router and by adding this to my home network, I have better wifi coverage for my outdoor security cameras and stronger coverage in my backyard. I have it almost two months now ans its working well, I am happy with this addition to my home network.

I bought this internet extender to take it to my house in Mexico, the internet quality is quite bad in my area, our house is quite big and the internet signal did not reach my sister's little house, which is behind me of mine, put this device which worked and continues to work great, the internet signal is now in her house too and she can use it on her TV, or anything

Works pretty well, definitely helps wifi coverage throughout my house most of the time. Set up through the Netgear app could be a little simpler.

Easy to set up, but have to reboot from time to time. I’m using the X12 as my router, which should be a seamless integration. Coverage is excellent.

I have a Netgear NightHawk RAX80 as my main wifi access point. Just moved houses, and the new lease doesn't allow running new ethernet lines. I have two AX1800's set up in places that need ethernet, using the gigabit port on the side to POE switches. Everything just works, as if it were wired up.

We are pleased with the purchase. It has enhanced our ability to enjoy our sling player in high definition. It also increased the range for our ipads.

First thing we own the Nighthawk X5S and it is AMAZING! We had to have our internet connection moved to another room in our house. So our signal on the back porch and by the pool went down. We spend a great deal of our time out there. Best Buy recommended this Netgear mesh extender and it WORKS GREAT!!! Highly recommend if you want to extend your WiFi!

It should pointed out on the outside box that it might not work for all systems of WiFi. I found out that it did not work with ours after I called the company that supplies our WiFi.

Impressed! This plug in mesh extender solved our dead spot problem. I know there is a lose of speed with any extender. However, the reduction was not that bad. The speed at the far end on the house was 2 x more than without. TV streaming issues have been minimal, camera stay connected and my sons complaining about Xbox lag is rare! Good Buy for a change.

Solid, easy to hook up, doing a great job in this big house.

It’s ok for Netgear. It has decent range with nice speeds.

Seems to work fine. Sometimes it will disconnect.

Works better than others but think it could be better. But it could also be our ISP, will update review if I find this is the case.

To be honest, I'm not sure this thing actually does much to extend wi-fi range. I bought it because my daughter said she doesn't get a wi-fi signal in her bedroom, which is diagonally at the far corner of our mid-sized ranch house from where the router is. After setting up and installing this extender, she still says she doesn't get much of a wi-fi signal, and we've been having problems with other wi-fi devices not getting a signal unless we bounce the router (which may be the router's problem - we got a new one around the same time we got this range extender).
