I am having a lot of trouble with the main computer losing connection and tried to get help from customer service but had a hard time understanding tech support and still have the same issue...

This is a brand new wireless router of Netgear. I bought this product on this August, and until now there was no problem at all. It is fast and it has wide-coverage :)

I needed to purchase my own modem/router for TWC internet service in order to not be charged $10 per month for a rental.... I have had great connection throughout my house and the price I paid was well worth it.

Decided to buy a router rather than 'renting' one from Comcast for $8/month...settled on this one after reading reviews and not wanting to spend a whole lot. Setup was a breeze. Easy to get in and change the router name and password, and haven't had a single issue with a dropped connection or slowdown, living in a 2 story, 2 bedroom house. My roommate and I are able to connect my Chromecast, 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, as well as any of our guests devices to it without a single issue. Can't recommend enough.

I bought this wireless router/modem before I signed back on with Comcast to save the monthly fees they charge for their device. I made sure that it was compatible before I bought it online. We watch Netflix with no buffering. We sometimes have up to 6 devices connected to the internet with no buffering. I restarted the router twice because Netflix would not launch on my smart tv even though my other devices had great connectivity. I ended up turning my tv off and restarting the power strip when it happened again; this fixed my Netflix app issue which had nothing to do with the wireless router connection.

Upgraded my cable internet to a higher speed and needed to upgrade my modem as well to get the faster speed. Saw this combo for a very reasonable price and decided to get it so I could replace my older and slower separate wireless router, too. Works perfectly and is very easy for someone who is familiar with networking to set up. Makes it so much easier to have the modem and router together so there are less wires and space taken up having just one box instead of two. Highly recommend to anyone who has high speed cable internet. Especially if you have other devices you connect via wireless.

So far so good. Bought this modem for my apartment in Florida during the holiday season. For the two weeks that we were there, the connection was strong enough for 2 computers and 3 iPads to connect without a problem.

I needed a new modem for a new internet service provider in Philadelphia, and this modem/router fit the bill at the right price of less than $100. I have had no connectivity issues, and my mobile devices are able to connect via the router without an issue. Buy buy buy!

Very easy to install and to use. Sometimes the phones forget the password and you need to write it again.

Got tired of renting a modem/router from the cable company so decided to buy one. Works just like the one from the cable company and saves $ on my cable bill. Win/win.

I bought this modem for my parents to use in their home. It worked so well and was reasonably priced for modem/wifi router all in one that I bought another one for my own house. I had to return the first one (bought for my own use) because the wifi router didn't work. The Netgear tech guy recommended that I return the unit for a replacement. The Netgear support is thorough and helpful. After the exchange, everything worked as it should. Good connection and was affordable for cable/wifi router. Would buy again.

I purchased this to get internet through time warner cable. It has been very reliable so far. Easy to hook up and no problems.

Easy to set up, combines two devices in to one and doesn't present a bottleneck for 70mbs internet connection. The online user interface is really slick.

Was one of the more affordable models that was compatible with Comcast. I liked how it came already secured with a password. Made the setup a lot easier.

I bought my mom a smart blu ray player for Christmas; she has cable but we needed wi-fi to take advantage of the blu-ray apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) I got a lot of conflicting info from the cable company and Best Buy sales associates so I originally bought a router and a modem. When the wi-fi was installed the cable buy said all we needed was the modem. It works great and now me and mom watch Netflix every Saturday. I also did not purchase the most expensive model; this one was about $50 whereas there are some that are over $100. Definitely worth the price.

It is a good product for the price you pay. It has a convenient software of where to control the settings, channel recommendations and how many people are on the channel so you can choose a different one. Very useful if you depend on your wi-fi being stable.

My modem worked great right out of the box. Once I activated the modem through Comcast it worked great! Every now and then I have to power off the modem and turn it back on, but that could be due to Comcast's service.

I only use this device to stream movies and when I work from home. I don't play online games or anything like that so I don't know how it would fare for that, but it's perfect for what I use it for. Haven't had a single issue with slowness or anything.

When I set up my internet service, I was not aware that they would charge a fee if I used the router they provided. I had to quickly find a router that would be suitable for my 1-bedroom apartment. This is an excellent router for a small space as the signal strength is strong throughout my apartment even with doors closed. As a matter of fact, I can pick up a weak signal from the parking lot. The signal is also consistent when my family comes to visit and they connect their devices. I would recommend this for light to medium use.

Works perfect for my needs, and the price was spot on. Setup was simple as could be, and good speeds and signal. Definitely got a good deal.
