    Bought this item to avoid paying leased fees, so saved some money and get to keep it even after my service ends. It's a win win. Average speed, guess it depends what speed you have with service provider.

    I needed an alternative to renting from T-W and found this to be adequate but now wish that I could have spent a bit more for a model with 4 hard-wired network ports instead of just 2. The wireless is excellent and T-W provisioned it without a peep!

    This router was not hard to set up but I had to phone Cox to finalize. Now I discovered that I can't get it to send data to my Canon wireless printer. The router sees the printer for about 10 seconds and then the communication channel closes. It could be the printer but there was no problem with the previous router.

    I bought it so I could stop paying rental fees from cox cable. I will say that it works just as good as the one they had given me. it was very easy to install. I just had to call Cox and register it with them for the internet to work.
