The convenience of a modem and router in one is an absolute boon. Managing connections and parental controls with the Netgear Genie app is also very useful. Only issue I've encountered is lost of wifi signal/internet connection, which happens at least twice a week and requires resetting the router. I'm not certain if this has to do with my cable company's flaws or the router. I suspect a combination of the two.

Got this for my mom who signed up with Time Warner back in 2016. It works great and she never had any complaints. It still works very well.

Purchased this for new apartment based on good reviews and sales person's opinion. Set up was easy and without a problem. Works fine. The only little negative is that the signal is not as strong in the bedroom which is 35' away from it's spot in the living room and you notice that on-line response time is a bit slower. There is a partial wall between but an open doorway. There is no easy option to relocate the router in the living area, but not a big issue. Overall it works fine and I'd buy it again.

I have the basic internet package and needed a decent wifi router, this works great, and was easy to set up. Xfinity recognized the device immeadiately.

The product definitely has some great features and is fast but the modem/router provided by Comcast is faster and more reliable.

I replaced my Xfinity modem with this one so that I don't have to spend the extra fees, and this modem worked just as good, I'm happy with my purchase,

I looked at a few, above the cost for this one and below. I also checked brands. I decided to use something I am familiar with brand wise. Netgear. Seldom a problem with them. So far, about 3 weeks in use now, it works fine. I have about as much control as I need for my home use with it. This was for a new service. Service tech came out, set it up for xfinity (which I think was a joke and a waste of funds I did not want to pay). Service guy was ok btw. Not his fault. Modem has since worked well. I altered the security settings to my liking, about as much as I had to do with it.

its a great product for the price. It has good range throughout my house. we can access wifi in all 3bedrooms and other living spaces. i would buy againw

Boosts my wifi and no issues with router. Both wifi and modem are in the same device. Handy. Less cumbersome. Less number of equipments to worry about

We started off with really slow Wifi speeds of 2-10Mb with a Comcast connection of 50+Mb. With a laptop connected to the router with an Ethernet cable and Wi-Fi disabled I got over 50Mb. I called Netgear and they tried switching channels on the router but made no difference. We're now some months with this thing and sometimes we can see our Wi-Fi connection but no devices can connect to it. Rebooting the router solves the problem for 24 hours or so and it fails again. I've since bought the Motorola modem/wireless router combo with the wireless AC connectivity and I'm getting full 50+Mb on my cell phone when testing to public speed test servers. My conclusion: this Netgear was a giant waste of time, money, including the money spent on Comcast service that we only ever realized really slow speeds when we're paying for 50Mb. My advice: spend the extra $50-100 for Motorola, Comcast uses it, this right here is the reason no carriers use Netgear.

This Modem/Router Combo was easy to get up and running especially for someone who is not exactly tech savvy. Great Buy.

I haven't had any problems so far! I was told to purchase Motorola, sales person assured me it would work as well, and it is!

I replaced my motorola unit because it was throttling down my speed, I replaced it with this unit, and there wasn't much different in speed, maybe it doesn't like TWC.

This product works just as described. It was easy to set-up by the internet installer while installing new service. It has great range as well.

Works perfect and was so easy to install. Has great reach for such a large apt and so many devices. was no trouble at all to have it up and working.

This is super reliable, we have time warner and were renting one from them it would consistently reset but with this new one not one single problem!

Does what it is supposed to do. I have owned it for a while now and have not had any problems with it.

Easy modem/router for a beginner. Simply take out of the box and plug and play. Save yourself $10 a month on your Xfinity bill and get this.

Purchased this router/modem because it was a necessity for installing my internet. So far it has done a very good job!
