Initially bought to replace a 5 years old Zoom cable modem as advised by Comcast in order to get full internet speed. I had to return it because not only I was not getting half of what my modem could but my son's Xbox connection was dropping every 5 minutes or so. Netgear makes good product but this one just did not work for me.

We have comcast and got tired of paying the rental fee every month, this product does a great job; no complaints.

It was a great brand, but we ended up having to return it because it was cable only and we moved to DSL only.

This is a nice modem. Is working good for last one month. Note it is only 100 Mbps.

I would go with a dual band router . OK for small house

Works pretty good. Can support many devices. I normally have 5 connected wirelessly.

Bought this cable modem to replace a 5 year old Zoom 5350 DOCSIS 3.0 that Comcast support rep said was not good enough to handle 100MBPS. Picked this Netgear from the Comcast list of supported products.The problem I was mainly trying to resolve was that my Zoom was not exceeding 25MBPS over Wifi. I believed, the Netgear will provide me the extra speed when I plugged it in. But to my great disappointment, I was not even getting half of what my old modem was capable of. To make it worse, my son's Xbox was disconnecting from Live every 5 minutes or so. Unplugged it, I put my Zoom back, did some research online and was able to get up to 40 MBPS over Wifi. Brought the Netgear back to the store for a refund. This modem did not work for me but that does not mean it's bad. I am sure it works for others for similar use. Netgear is a well know brand and I believe they make good products.

I bought this router to replace my old one that was failing. Ever since my internet connection has been great!

Have no complaints. Use it with TWC and rarely have dropped or slow connections.

Works very well, better than TWC router, it saves my monthly installment on Router

This unit connected quickly to Comcast and has reasonable wifi range, not great but ok. The concern so far is that I have had WiFi drop out 3 times. Once I reset the unit, 2nd time I let it power reset overnight (I have a 3 AM timer on it). and the 3rd time I manually power cycled it. All over a 2 month period.

The product works great. Easy setup and I haven't had any problems with the device.

I would recommend buying a modem instead of renting from local cable company!

Runs all our wireless devices and is trouble free. Netgear technical support was helpful and professional.
