I am sure I am not using this thing to NEAR it's abitlity, but it is a good router. Setup was easy for me, but I could see where some may not find it so easy. I do like the 2 USB ports, dual nets, and the http interface is slick. If you are looking for a speedy router, this would be the one.

With a large increase in wireless devices in my house, it was time to replace my old Linksys wireless router. This router has been wonderful and completely compatible with my Comcast modem. Setup was easy and I have no complaints.

Works flawlessly. Streams video from my bedroom upstairs to my TV downstairs in Hi-def (Hulu Plus) without any problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.

I replaces my small and trusty "slow" Netgear N300 with what i was told would be a great improvement, being it is a duel band router. It was easy to install and get setup and working. Having to set new passwords in all my computers tablets and phone took most of the time. Everything looked great for around eight hours, then I would find my systems were dead All computers and tablets using WiFi were not connected. after rebooting router was again good to go for another eight or ten hours, then again i would find my system dead again. after many many calls to Netgears support i just took the first N900 back to Best Buy and exchanged it for another. Took it home set it up and again set up new passwords in all systems. And at first all was again good until around eight hours, again after many many new calls to Netgears support, it was again back to Best Buy and exchanged for a new Netgear AC1900 Night Hawk router, took it home set it up set all new passwords and all has been great, no more needing to reboot routers and no more dropped connections. You may be lucky and never have a problem with your N900 but if you buy one I say good luck.

Overall this is a great product and I would buy it again or recommend this wireless router to anyone. I have 2 computers on the wired system with my HP printer, and my blueray player on wireless..works great!

Easy to instal in the computer. Took me a whileto get my wireless pronters to connect. Has dropped the wifi connection several times. Only way I could get it back was to reboot the router. Never had to reboot the D-Links router. This router has a stronger wifi signal.

I see others have better luck, maybe it's us. We have 2 laptops & 2 smartphones on router. Range is very good. But it can be slow and often the wireless signal cuts in and out. Other times it works great.

I hate myself for throwing away the box because i would have return it. It never worked correclty. It was easy to setup sure but it lost connection all the time. I had to reboot the device once or twice a day. This isnt my first netgear router but its going to be my last.

After I read good reviews I bought this router and also best buy sales person recommended this. He said this is the only way you can get good signal in your house (since I have a FIOS modem-router). I installed it and started getting poor signal quality. Streaming is so poor and lots of disruption. I opened a case with Netgear support. They have me many solution nothing worked and then recommended to buy a commercial router costing $400. I am a residential user and have medium size house. The signal would not go upstairs which is even close to the room the router was placed. I am returning it to best Buy. People dont buy this router, you will be sorry!!!

I had to call their support for a problem that I needed help with. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to finish the set up with no issues.

I purchased a Netgear modem, and shortly after my 4 year old Netgear router fried. I purchased a Netgear 900 figuring it should be a snap to get everything set up as I had it before. Boy, was I ever wrong!!! After multiple calls to Netgear support proved worthless, I've resigned myself to the fact that the only way I will ever be able to get my laptop with a vista OS to connect to my home network is to powercycle the modem and router every time I turn the laptop on, or bring it out of sleep mode. Ridiculous!! Based on my support experiences with Netgear, I wouldn't recommend their products to my worst enemy, let alone a friend.

I've had 2 other Netgear routers and always upgraded but this router is the best of them all. I also purchased an extender Netgear router for the bedroom and they work flawlessly together. No problems with distance nor wall thickness. Great!

Nothing against the performance or the ease of installation. But the thing is huge to begin with. Then you realize that the stand is not removable. This makes an already large router even that much larger. I have the router mounted in my home's distribution point, and the wide feet on the stand make it impossible to place inside this box. It will be going back for this reason alone. If you're limited on space, this will be a consideration. Note: There is nothing on the packaging to indicate that the stand is permanently mounted.

I purchased this unit because it was supposed to have a greater WiFi range. It turned out not to have a significantly greater range than the WNDR 3700 which is much less expensive.

this is the best router i have owned. all of my devices are wireless and this one really does an exceptional job

Pricey, I hope that it will be worth it. I have not had the issues that I had with the previous equipment.

I originally bought this router to END MY LAG and to broadcast a wireless wifi throughout my apartment. I replaced my old Linksys router with this NetGear N900 dual band and there is no difference at all!!! In my house hold there are six people and off the muscle six devices will be attached plus handhelds to this router. THE N900 is supposed deliver fast connection speeds!!! Its true for one user but when everyone starts to stream videos and download files the router gets busy and slows down instantly. I have set up the dual band and no luck. I set up the guest connection and still no luck!!! I connected the old linksys with this router with dual band and guest connections and what do I get a LAG VILLE LAN and WAN!!! On the first day (its been 3 months) I set it up and was confident that I will not have any lagging problems as I game online while people in the household enjoy wifi. When I finally managed to get online on my ps3 I began to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. As soon as the match started I knew that I ripped myself off by buying this router because I still had ONE BAR (RED) while I was wired to the Ethernet port; which made me JOG IN PLACE, DIE A Lot, and give away KILLS!!! No matter how I set it up and I mean no matter how ensuring the set up could be it still made me lag A LOT ! IF ONLY I COULD HAVE FLAWLESS CONNECTIONS!!!!! I am sorry but I wanted to love this router but its just not going to happen ever!!! ONLY WHEN I AM THE ONLY ONE CONNECTED AFTER KICKING EVERYONE BY CHANGING THE PASSWORDS AND NETWORK NAMES THE LAGGING STOPS other than THAT I LAG 24/7!!!

I am so glad I upgraded my home netwok with the Netgear N900. What a difference!

I've had other NetGear products before and this item has the same high quality that I have come to expect from NetGear

No problems so far and we've been using it for about 9 months now. No one gets "kicked off" like we used to.
