I would buy this again if I had to. It is well worth the money as it has made my computer faster and it has enabled us to get on our tablets and other computers also. Love it! I have already recommended this to someone else!

This a great router and has great range i can access it remotely and it has apps and love the usb ports on the back. Great for gaming and streaming. Also very simple software for people thats not use to setting things up

The wireless unit has a lot of great features include extra ports, slick design and works great with the complimentary modem. Replaced a prior combo unit and the difference is huge. No more freezes or download delays.

Used this product at home to connect all wireless users to the internet and share files. You can connect a USB drive to this router and share files with the Netgear app. Handles 2.5Ghz and 5.0Ghz. Very reliable product!

I spent 85.00 on this router and it is fantastic. The sales guy tried to push me to a 209.00 router, but this one did the trick. I run about 6-7 devices on it and there is never an issue with the signal or security

We have 4 computers and 4 cell phones needing access to the internet, often at the same time. The Netgear N900 has been the best router we've owned. Our house is large with 3 levels - no matter what level we are on, our WiFi is dependable. We haven't needed to use the gamer option - the regular connection has sufficed for our son's online gaming. This router is more costly, but we are very happy with its performance.

Set up was easy enough. Didn't realize the 5G band would be something separate that needs to be selected. Doesn't switch between them automatically as I had assumed would happen. But other than that, so far so good.

i had to replace my old lynksys router cause i started gaming on the ps3 and on the xbox 360 my old router was not fast enough for the 3 people in my home to play at the same time this one is a whole lot faster no game lag

this modem is superb! Modem provided by the cable company was not cutting it in within 3 floors! Modem is reasonably priced and the range is beyond expectations. Thx best buy sales for providing the guidance!!

after i installed this router my speed on my computer and iPad went to the highest speed which makes surfing the internet and checking mail so much faster worth the purchase would tell anyone to buy this item

I've been in need of a new router for quite some time now and after finally narrowing it down between a few different Netgear models, I am quite satisfied with my choice in the N900. Although my internet is currently not only one of the slowest still available, but also quite busy with the number of people in my household, the N900 makes a noticeable difference. The new technology and software take my decades old modem/internet and brings it to life with a ferocity and consistency I haven't seen in a long while. The setup was extremely user friendly, the service is actually decent for today's day-in-age, the product actually looks quite sleek, and ultimately it is a reliable router that will work no matter the circumstances. I also wanted to add that the range is quite far when compared to similar models in the same relative price range. I have tried Linksys' routers before and they simply, in my opinion, do not provide the same distance and consistency in range that this Netgear does. Should anything change I will update my review, but as of a couple months now, this puppy rocks for me. Until then: 5 Fully Connected Stars out of 5!

We decided to upgrade the router from one I purchased 5 years ago because my computer was having trouble getting signal. This new router works really well!

Had a Linksys wrt300n and was disappointed with the speeds I was getting up and down. Did some research went with n600 and my upload and download speed doubled after replacing. Highly recommend this router.

This router does exactly what it is supposed to do. In our 2 story house with plaster walls and stucco, the signal reaches from top to bottom and outside.

We purchased this item for a new internet installation. It works great! We have a 2700 sq ft house and are able to hook up several TV's and devices and run them all at once without it slowing down.

After my last Netgear router failed out after 2-3 years, I wasn't going to get another but I was able to get this for the right price and am very happy with decision. Works without flaws, and no issues so far.

Did a lot of research first, not yet ready to jump into AC (still need to pay a premium, few other devices that can use it). Previous DIR-655 was state-of-the-art a few years ago but its VoIP QoS wasn't good enough to deal with less-than-ideal 20/2 TimeWarnerCable connection (even though it worked fine with 35/35 FiOS at former home). This Netgear router cleared that up, plus added 5 MHz band for less congestion, NAS/print server capability, access via mobile apps and much better range and speed.

I have a home theater system. This router anchors everything. I have a blue ray player, xbox, m-cell, and Android tv player, 2 cell phones, laptop, and camera. I stream tv shows/movies daily without any problems. I previously owned an expensive WD router that gave many problem. This router was easy to set up and hasn't given me a problem since installation. Well worth the price !

I purchased this NETGEAR - N900 Dual Band Wireless-N Router with 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch to replace an older Netgear wireless router that I'd had for about 12 years and was still working well but had a limit of how much bandwidth it could support. This router allowed me to increase the bandwidth that I needed since my work allows me to telecommute. One of the features that I really enjoy about this router is the option to use the 2.4 or 5.0 band. I'm able to pick and choose which devices connect to what band. I also enjoy the ability to provide "guest" access to my guests without giving them access to my regular network. The setup was a bit lengthy but it was well worth it.

Got this for my daughter. She was unable to get a good signal if she left the living room with the wireless router provided (at a cost) by her provider. Good price, works well. A win-win situation.
