The unit has performed well once setup. However the initial setup was painful. The NetGenie app is garbage. The NetGenie app errors on Windows 8.1 and closes. Almost all of my devices connected back (i had a Netgear N-300 router previously) except Tivo. The Netgear support team indicated that I should not use WPS to setup Tivo unit since it would likely connect over 5G. This is after I confirmed with Tivo there is the primary way to connect unit. I am stumped why Netgear would include a feature and tell you not to use it. The situation worsened when i called Netgear support back to express my concerns about not being able to use WPS and they indicated that I would need to get premium support package for Tivo issues. THAT IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - IF IT DOESN'T WORK DON'T OFFER IT TO CUSTOMERS! As a last resort I found a post indicating that another user re-positioned their Tivo modem and it improved connectivity. I tried the same and 5G connectivity seems to be working.

Easy to set-up - wireless has great range. I now can watch Netflex without all the buffing.

It serves its purpose. I would have liked to have bought something different, but my wife works from home and her office had a preset selection of routers that could be used and this was one of them. I just wish I knew how to change some of the settings to allow for greater download speed. We are getting 100 Mbps at the cable modem (we have Cox), but we lose about 50% speed upon going through the router.

We have not had a problem. We have a large 2 story house and no problems with the signal.

This product worked great. No problems yet. I needed to extend the range of my wireless to satisfy the demands of my Roku streaming. To run the wire would have been difficult, but so far this solution is working. The distance between the 2 devices is about 35 feet and 1 wall. Old wireless device worked at first, but began to slow down, and cause the Roku to go into a loading cycle every 15 minutes or so. So far, so good.
