Had a problem getting WiFi through out my house, never did before cable company said someone is causing interference, talked to a person at Best Buy explained my problem and lo and behold no more problems WiFi works great & fast. Simple to set up and use and I need simple.

Much better range than my previous net gear router. Speed of it are great I can easily get my 100x25 Internet speeds wirelessly.

The picture is brilliant and sharp. Unfortunately, the sound is weak and quality not so good. To be able to truly enjoy this otherwise fantastic TV one needs to connect it to an external sound system. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, but that option is not available.

This was purchased as a gift to my son and family. They set it up with no problems while we were visiting over the Christmas holidays. There were times when the home's main computer was being used, 2 Kindles and an iPad all at the same time. At these times we occasionally felt the performance of our devices may have been a bit slowed down but we weren't actually sure since sometimes files were being downloaded to the new Kindles. They may have been slow anyway. It's only because of this uncertainty that I rated this category as "good" above. So how bad can that be? It seems to reach all points in the home and to be reliable.

This router is fantastic! I tried several routers to use with my service that isn't so good, but this one really worked well in all areas of the house. It is dependable.

I love this router! It gives me options for 2G and 5G connections as well as very granular security settings (if you are so inclined). It also lets me set up separate Guest WiFi networks just as easily and I can keep all of that traffic separate from my main home LAN.

We returned a different brand recommended by Best Buy employee...the other unit kept cutting out and requiring constant resetting! This is our second Netgear router and we'll never use a different brand again!

Have no problems with this device. I'm satisfied with net gear. It was easy to set up and install. It has good range and I have multiple wireless devices set up to it.

Great router for large home. I connect 3 laptops, a tablet, and 2 smartphones to it with no problem anywhere in the house. It has been dependable and it was easy to set up.

Our previous router continued to overheat. In searching for a router we wanted to ensure that the error would not persist. In doing some research and seeing reviews over this device we gave it a try. The device works perfectly and not once has it overheated!

Step by step instructions, very easy to set up. Router works great running 3 game deck and 2 laptops all at the same time with no problems and no loss of connection.

Too many wireless gadgets in our house. This is a high speed router with 2 networks. Works great. Set up was pretty easy

This router replaced an OLD Linksys router than lasted a very long time (around 10 years I think). Way back when, I remember that setting up a wireless router was a NIGHTMARE. Not so with this Netgear N900 router. Granted, we have a very basic and easy setup. Our house is "wired" for Cat5e, so we basically put the router upstairs in the "box" where all of our connections are. We identified the cables for the corresponding rooms that we want active internet access in (bedroom 1, office, den, etc.) and plugged them into the ports on the router. Then we went to the individual rooms and plugged out ethernet cords from the computer, laptop, TV into the Cat5e jacks that are already in the rooms. I don't see much improvement in speed compared to our old router, but I think that it has to do with our broadband provider and plan speeds (we have the basic cable broadband, not "turbo"). The real test of the router's performance would be to use some of the features we don't use right now, like sharing files across our network, online gaming, etc. Instructions were easy to understand, easy and quick to execute. I was up in running very quickly. We've had NO problems whatsoever since installing the router. Truthfully, I can only attest to the very basic functions of the router (we're online, speed seems normal for our network, etc.). Streaming Netflix from our Blu-ray player works well, no drops or freezes (we do watch on less than 100% HD quality though). I thought it had 5 ports because that's what they advertise...my bad. It has 4 LAN ports + the 1 WAN port. Apparently it's easy enough to expand the ports by attaching a switch with extra ports (or so I've been told). For our needs (and space requirements) I would have liked to take the stand off. I'm sure it comes off, but it wasn't readily apparent how (a special tool)? So I mounted it with the stand on. Looks a little strange that way, but it fulfills OUR needs for a wireless router!

Bought this when I moved and I have had it for over a month now and my connection speeds over wifi have never been better. No dropped connections and no lag.

Provides the increased range enables all my Wi-Fi devices to connect from any where in the house and outside around the pool. Can attach two (2) USB devices directly to router. This enables the use of a USB drive to become a personal cloud storage drive.

Installed this wireless router to replace an older one from another manufacturer to get better performance and to allow using the two bands to split my home networks into isolated lower BW devices (notebooks, ipads, printers, etc) and higher BW DVR (DirecTv) to speed movies download.

fast and reliable,has not dropped connections like my previous router. very easy setup on my home network. finally able to stream video from my devices to my tv.
