I bought this product to replace my existing Wireless G Router. I chose Netgear because I had two Netgear routers and I thought it would be easier to use. The router was a breeze to bring online (compared to the other models) and the 1gb lan port improved the Internet speed on my desktop. While it was a bit pricy, I believe it was worth the money. One downside, it appears some older Wifi devices cannot pick up the dual band, limiting you to the slower band.

Easy to install, everything works great! I previoiusly had a older Pre-N router from Netgear that lasted 6 years, I'm confident this will do the job as well

This item was recommended by a Best Buy sales associate after I told her we weren't able to get a strong wi-fi signal throughout our large home. When paired with the Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem it works beautifully!

When my kids and their families came to visit, I realized that between phones, tablets, computers, Apple TVs and wireless printers, I was trying to connect 23 devices to my old wireless router - and it just could not handle the job. Based on a friend's advice, I bought this one. Easy to set up, and great range. I have been across the street inside my neighbor's house - and can connect easily. Before, my upstairs bedroom had trouble connecting. Highly recommend.

The Wi-Fi works well in a 1200 sq foot house and I can actually take my devises outside. The nice thing is that I can use multiple at once with no delay.

Performance and range are fantastic. This router provides a strong signal throughout our house, even on different levels and at the other end of the house.

It is better than the single band router I had and did give me a little more range but not the distance within my home that I had hoped for. I live in an older house and just two walls between the router and the room degrades the reception from full to barely one bar. But I had no bars before so I guess that is a gain. Simple to setup and use, if you have setup a router before this one is just as easy. You do not need the CD to install it just the IP.

Easy to setup and works great... I would recommend the NETGEAR - N900 Dual Band Wireless-N Router for use in the home or home office.

I recently purchased NETGEAR N900 Dual Band WirelessN Router to replace another WirelessN Route for home networking. Setup for the NetGear router was simple and easy. The readyshare usb ports for storage or printer is a big plus.

This router was very easy to install. It speeded up my connection about 2 times as fast. Has a very easy tutorial and the support is really good.

I tried for over 4 hours to get it to work. Then I took a break and reread the instructions. I was adding a password where I did not need to. Then, all started working correctly. Guess I should have read the instructions twice.

I replaced a Netgear wireless router with this version. Not sure the expected life on these things, but my old one, at least two years old, died and tech at Netgear wanted as much to support it as it cost me to buy a new one.

Good router for large house. Easy to connect with no technical experience. Tablet works well now that we purchased and installed this new router.

I bought this for a church that has a very crazy designed building, with VERY thick, solid walls. This router penetrated to pretty much every where they wanted it to. Eventually they decided they wanted wifi in the sanctuary too, which was out of the picture for one device in this building. So I'm about to buy a 2nd of this same model, and turn on WAP mode, which will allow the main unit to control the new one as a WAP. Nice feature, then just only one place to configure and control both devices.

Very easy to set up and configure. I love the app on my phone that I can use with it. Better range than the linksys I had before this one.

NETGEAR - N900 comes well packaged with good documentation. Setup is easy and presents a small horizontal footprint. Good throughput at 802.11n as well as earlier standards. Excellent admin interface with router from master PC.

Overall great features, easy to install, easy to manage with network genie. Would recommend to others.

This thing is awesome you can monitor who's using it and what's connected to your wifi. You can also use it as a wireless network for music and photos it's really cool
