I purchased this router to reduce the rental cost from Charter. Also, this product is way better than Charters. Overall, I haven't had any problems with this system working with Charter internet service.

I am very happy with this choice. I switched from Linksys. It was much easier to setup and seems faster than my old router.

Ease setup. Strong signal. Recommend highly even though the router is a little pricey.

It is great once I set it up correctly, I read the manual and set up wrong, please contact the manufacturers as soon as possible it will make your life easy otherwise (you have 2 month free tech support)

This is an easy to set up great performing wireless router. The range is very good and it works well with all my devices.

Have several of the Netgear routers spread around our church for the wireless network and have had very few problems with them. I would buy them again.

Replaced a lightning struck router with a "value" priced router and everyone at my house complained about speed, coverage, and stability so back to the store for an upgrade. This time I chose this netgear and it has worked very well and been reliable. I like all the lights on the front and the switch for wifi is handy. The interface is straightforward, full featured and simple to figure out. It was even simple enough to reconfigure the otherwise useless "value" router as a wired access point for the barn.

Hello buyers, The Netgear router is very robust and easy to set up. The manual is clearly written and navigating the webpage setup screens are intuitive. There are two pre-configured networks when you first turn this router on, which can be confusing, Netgear, and Netgear-5g. Once you get familiar with the layout of the configuration pages, you'll be up and running in no time. I chose the Netgear-5g because I wanted the bandwidth. I've set my configuration to connect to my existing verizon WiFi router, and once the settings where configured, the router saved and rebooted. I was all set. That took less than 15 minutes. The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars and downgraded the score for installation, is because the clear plastic mounting stand shown in the product picture is not removable. This unit is designed to only be installed vertically. My computer shelf didn't have the room to have this installed standing up, so I chose to use a book under the router to prop it up so that the router could lay flat on its side. This was all a result of the width of the plastic base. Netgear should have made this plastic mounting stand removable. It's really an eyesore having a book propping up the router, especially with the plastic base sticking out to the side. Thankfully, I don't notice any network range broadcast issues having this laying on its side, and therefore, no dropouts. Good luck, happy buying!!!

Rather simple to go from box to installation to use. It provides a good signal for computing including videos though Xbox.

Other than the setup taking quite a bit longer than expected, this product has terrific range and runs everything smoothly.

With my previous netgear router I was unable to access wifi on my second floor. With this one, the wifi quality is perfect on both floors! A lot stronger than the wifi device given to me from Comcast.

Provides better wifi coverage in our home that is over 3800 sq ft. We added this because our prior router was limiting our wifi to certain portions of our home. This product improved service greatly

I really like this router. Easy set up, and the transmission strength is great in all areas of my house. I like the fact that you have the 2.4ghz and 5ghz signals being broadcast simultaneously. This cuts down on any potential interference from microwaves, wireless keyboards and mice (as these devices can transmit at around 2.4ghz). it's nice to have the redundancy to limit downtime.

This is my first review and I recommend this router highly based on it's connectivity and excellent signal strength. May perhaps be more router than I needed but came highly recommended and have no regrets of the purchase. Also works well with Jellybean OS on android, seems odd to say that but, some routers do not always play nice with this flavor of android. I do wish the leds could be adjusted/dimmed or turned off altogether, they just seem too bright at times. Otherwise an excellent product!

This router allows us to get internet reception further than my previous router. A little complicated to connect with a mac, but we figured it out.

Love this product. I even have a signal outside in my yard and driving up my long driveway. I replaced a linksys because my daughter couldn't even get a signal on the opposite side of the house from the router. Very please with this purchase. We have one in my office that runs a small school's wifi, so I knew it was a good product.

I purchased this router at the advice of my son to help with the cronic loss of WiFi we were experiencing. Since it has been installed, we have not had to reboot at all. Works great! Very happy.

This is the easiest piece of equipment I've ever had to setup. It covers the whole house and even outside to the patio.

This new Netgear router was a snap to set up and configure. Everything in my house easily found and connected to the router. My previous router gave me some issues with certain electronics. Its really nice to know that whatever I have, I'll be able to connect to the router in a snap
