    Have used several Netgear routers over the years. They work well with my internet (TWC). Cheaper to buy a router than rent from TWC.

    I bought this because my wife and I both need to work from home. She uses the laptop all day and I maintain a wired VPN connection. The previous entry-level router we had did not provide good signal beyond a range of about 30 feet but this one easily has a 50 ft + range, even through walls.

    For the price the router should be a little more user friendly. But aside from that once you get it working there shouldn't be any problems.

    This router has proved to be really useful. I can plug in my removable hard drive to the USB port and save data from any device on the network to it. My Android, KindleFire, 2PC's, Removeable hard drive, network printer all connect seamlessly (whether hard wire or wireless). The NetGear Genie APP is really helpful in setup & in seeing the full network status.
