This router replaced an old netgear that couldn't handle the distance and the speed of video. This router has consistently worked very well.

The wireless modem looks good in the home and works fine. Although it works fine thru out my home but the outside range isn't much stronger than my 10 yr old router I replaced . Netgear support are very kind but with the two time I contacted them they tend to blame other manufacturers . They will not help beyond their device unless you agree to paying them. I guess its a business and I understand but , would just be nice if they offered ideas on what you could do. It would greatly influence my in future purchases of their products.

I was having all sorts of issues with an older router, Netgear as well. I bought this and it fixed all of the issues I was having. Awesome

I upgraded from a net gear n600. This new one allows great coverage. Even on the patio and the far bed room..very happy with my wi-fi now.

Purchased for my daughter for college, it doesn't have much of a range outside of her room, it didn't get a signal in there common area which is not to far from her room

It has allowed me to fully use the speed of my internet service from my cable provider. I can access wi-fi with laptops all over the house.

We wanted to replace our router which wasn't working anymore and about ten years old. The Best Buy sales person was very helpfully in first understanding our electronics habits and recommending the appropriate router. The router has very good range and signal strength and has been excellent for our level of use; laptops, smartphones, Roku, etc., but not gaming. It was also extremely easy to install even to the extent of providing a Username and Password already programmed in if you didn't want to create your own.

Finally was able to get wifi for our whole house. No monthly charges for this! Easy to install.

The router is very God, very stable doesn't hang, never needed to restart it, and its range is very wide, it reaches the parking lot

Replaced an old Netgear and am VERY happy with this one. WAY faster, outstanding distance, and extremely stable. Definitely recommend.

We have had a net gear router in the past, and when it quit working, we knew we wanted another net gear brand. Great router for the price.

I was experiencing occasional interruptions in my internet connection. I replaced my old router with this one. It solved my problem.

It is great to have a reliable product. The technician who installed my network says it is one of the best. I have not had any problems.

This was set up for a friend's lake house - where their previous WGR614 was outdated. I prepped it at my house, set the SSID, password etc - and upon wiring & powering it up at my friend's house, got my 'prepped' laptop online immediately. Not only does it introduce 802.11n, but it absolutely extended the signal range, while adding 802.11a functionality in case cordless phone interference caused issues. I was tempted to pick up two and extend the signal, but it wasn't needed - as extending 100+ feet was more than acceptable.

Was fast and easy to setup. I found the guest band very useful when I had visitors who I did not want to give full access to my system.

I bought this because my last router, a belkin, kept dropping connection to each device and I had to reset is every day or two. This router has never dropped a connection. Its super easy to set up and change the. settings. I love that the bandwidth is perfect for me to play games and watch netflix at the same time. Recommended for people who are not super tech savy but know a decent amount and want control of their system.

I bought the N900 to replace my older Netgear router from years back. Having been familiar with the interface from the old router, navigating the new menus is very easy. The dual USB ports are a great feature, I'm currently using one to host my 1TB external harddrive on the network. Transfer speeds between a wireless laptop and the HDD aren't phenomenally fast or anything, but for backup purposes it gets the job done. I buy nothing but Netgear networking products because they have never let me down; worth the price in my book

Would recommend to friends, would buy again. Multi users with no conflicts or speed reduction

Router was very very easy to set up and directions were clear and concise. Took about 5 min. including opening the box.

Before I got this router I was having to reboot my system several times a day. I haven't had to reboot since this router was installed.
