    I replaced the comcast supplied wireless router/modem with a motorola modem & this netgear router. My slingbox remote reception now works better than the day that I installed it (6+ years ago). I now have my own personal 64gb cloud by connecting a $35 USB drive to this router.

    I like this wireless router. The best part about it is the lights. They turn off when you unplug it and do not turn on again until it is ready to use. It saves time trying to log on on the computer when the router is not quite ready yet. We have problems with our internet company. We did not have to restart this router at all until we changed companies.

    Had install issues. Called Netgear tech support, must be out-sourced cause tech spoke w/foreign accent and very hard to understand, had to repeat how I did set-up procedure 4 times to him, after 35 mins on the phone w/tech router started to work w/o tech support help. Have had router since Oct 2015 and is working good.

    I advised the store clerk I needed the signal to reach about 50 feet, through a couple of walls and it typically does that, though sometimes the signal is a little spotty. Not sure if that is the router or my internet service, though. For normal use, in the family room, running three or four connections simultaneously, it seems to work very well
