Went from the asus attempt at routers back to netgear. Maybe I had a lemon, but the asus router I had before the nighthawk underperformed specs. Happy to say the nighthawk delivers on promised speeds.

Had to buy this when my apple to apple extender failed. I've only had it for a few months, but it works better than an apple to apple extender. I use this to extend an apple extreme router to a guest house.

I had a powerline networking configuration setup in my home that has been working fine for many months for basic Netflix streaming and whatnot. But once I installed a NAS on the other end of that network, I realized I was only pushing around 15MB/s of transfer which is just too slow. So I bought this range extender to help bridge the gap and remove the powerline networking since I knew my wireless signal was very strong. So far it has been working solid and allows me to get closer to 50MB/s in local transfer speeds. No lag or dropped connections and I was lucky enough to snag the last one (in the back no less) at my local Best Buy. It was the same price as the cheapest I could find online.

Had issue with maintaining wifi signal in my 1953 built home. Bought this - up and running within minutes - great signal through plaster and wire walls, outside and in the garage. Great purchase.

I prefer the eero system but it works nicely. Easy to set up and manage. Not a fan of how it works going down stairs.

This extender does everything it says it will, We looked at a couple of them before finally deciding on this one.

Second one I have purchased. Get strong reception in a guest house where I had no signal before. I know other reviews are mixed, but it is an excellent product based on my experience.

Trying to get a signal outside my stucco covered house to another bedroom. Took some doing but finally got it connected, located and transmitting. Works good.

I usually hard wire these but I've also used them in fast lane mode, and they work great either way. I've also used one for a wireless bridge and that worked well too.

my 14 yr old set this up and now both upstairs computers seem to be running as fast s the ethernet connected TV. Worth the money to not hear complaining about speeds of the wifi anymore!

I bought the Linksys AC 1200 extender. It failed and Linksys wasn’t willing to replace it for free. This extender is great! It works and allows me to use my wifi without any issues

It does the job described in the box. I placed it on the second floor for my third floor study . The original router is on the first. I am able to get decent speed

I am able to access WiFi through out the entire home.

We located the range extender approximately 100 feet from our router and didn't experience any lagging while gaming on a PS4, doing homework on a laptop and being connected to a SmarTV at the same time.

Greatly improved our Wi-fi signal in our home. We have a large 6 bedroom home, with the computer in the front room. This item greatly increased the signal to all our smart items in the rear of our home.
