Worked great while I had it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product worked great for the two weeks I had it. I ended up deciding to go through the trouble of moving my modem and router to our middle floor, so I did not have a need for the extender anymore.

Fantastic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this range extender to cover the bedrooms in the back of our house that had little to no coverage from our nighthawk router. I could not be happier with the performance of this extender.

Great purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little wary as my last extender was flaky and only ever delivered 10mps (about 1/4 of standing next 2 the router. Set up for this unit was a snap and I'm getting 40+mps. It was on sale too!

Does not work great in basements
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this to give better bandwidth in our basement. Since the remodel, we added a television, office computer setup, gaming consoles, and other miscellaneous WiFi connected items downstairs. We were told this would help with our connection but dealing with the same issues. We tried watching Netflix and it still has loading issues, our computer has troubles with YouTube, and even our exercise equipment can not connect.

Buyer Beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those looking to use this as an AP rather than an extender. The advertising is deceptive. It uses the terms mesh WiFi, smart roaming, and One WiFi Name, which are all very good things to have for a single home network that can extend to dead spots in your house. However, these features are only available when you set up as an extender. In my case I have wired ethernet connections throughout my home, so using an extender is not a good fit especially when it cuts in half your available bandwith. It's great to increase your range but your internet speeds will suffer. So I was looking forward to setting up an AP to avoid those problems with extenders. And I was looking forward to having an AP mesh with my existing router under a single SSID and password with smart roaming as I move throughout the house. Unfortunately the advertising used is too good to be true for those looking for that with an AP, as all those features are non-existent during the AP setup. I'll probably be returning this and sell my existing router in favor of a true mesh system, like the eero or Orbi.

No Longer have signal strength in kitchen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have plaster and lath walls and with the wireless router located on the second floor signal strength on the first floor on the opposite side of the house was very weak. Purchased this and am using as an AP (as I already had a ethernet cable run to the first floor). I no longer need to hear my significant other complain that her wireless devices are so slow in the kitchen. Configured as an AP so that the SSID is the same regardless of which router you connect to. Configuring as an extender (without connecting with and ethernet cable) may be easier, but then you have a different SSID and implicitly, using the wireless to retransmit causes more congestion on the primary wireless network.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up! Works great ...sometimes it drops the WiFi but I don’t know if it’s the WiFi extender or the actual router.
