We have it in our detached garage and we can stay connected from being parked outside. It really is an outstanding range extender. Couldn't be happier!

This wi-fi extender has allowed us to extend service to outer buildings on our property without having to run hard wires.

I'm not sure about range extenders anymore and the research and troubleshooting is just too much of a hassle trying to get a range extender to work properly!! What I did figure out is just using it as basically another router!! Get a long ethernet cable, connect it your home router, set it up and stick in the area with bad service!! And everyone's getting same awesome download/uploads speeds!! That's what this NETGEAR Nighthawk blah blah blah is currently accomplishing for my needs right now.... So yea

I bought this after buying a bigger house and needing more WiFi connections. Works great. My house is about 6,000 Sq. Feet. We get great service through the whole house now.

Bought this last December. Have no problem so far. Signal quality are consistent. Easy to install with the app in your phone of talet.

Easy instructions in the box. Would not set up automatic but instructions on how to do it through their web site was very easy.
