    Purchased because we live in a mother in law suite about 20 feet away from the main house where the router lives. The old extender was dated and providing patchy service at best. Haven't had any issues that weren't explainable (the router got unplugged in the main house or something). Service is as consistent and fast as being in the main house. Fairly easy setup as well!

    I installed this as an AP for a client and it works great. The one issue I have toward this product is the same that I have with every consumer Netgear router, AP, and range extender: the fact that you have to create the security questions just to set up the device. If I want to chance having to factory reset a device due to me forgetting a password, that should be my choice.
